Bday Trip

This was our second time staying at this property. We enjoyed it just as much as we did the first time. The house was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beach is within a 7 min walk. The beds were very comfortable. The game table was a treat and my daughter and her friend had fun playing the various games. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a very good time. The house is a great location to the beach. It has wagons, coolers, chairs, beach toys, anything you would need for the beach! Inside the house was nice and clean. Plenty of towels. It has lots of leftover things in the pantry for use, some of it was a little old, but very useful if needed. The grill was a little rough, could use a new one, but there was propane provided. Overall, we would stay at this property again!

Had a wonderful stay at this little gem of a beach house! Ultra modern beach house, with a fantastic deck to sunbath, enjoy, eat, and relax. House is so inviting with comfortable beds, great kitchen/dinning area to use and enjoy. Great location to the beach and Galveston. Perfect place to stay for a relaxing beach getaway.

Pirates beach house

A little gem of a terrific modern beach house. Very close to the gulf. A fantastic deck with couches, tables, and lounge chairs. Just a great very comfortable house to rent for a relaxing beach getaway! Truly enjoyed my stay here.

Excellent Get Away Spot

We really enjoyed our time here, the spot was a short walk from the beach and a close drive to many attractions. We spent a lot of time in the morning on the back deck, soaking in the sun and jamming out to the neighbor's tunes. Friendly neighborhood, a very well-kept area that does not disappoint!

Love the outdoor shower!

Wonderful getaway for our family of 5 with young kids. We loved walking to the beach and playing in the waves everyday. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook on our own. The outdoor shower was awesome for keeping the sand out of the house. Overall wonderful vacation spot!

We had such a nice stay, even on coldish weekend. Very nice rooms, kitchen, furnishings inside, super deck furniture outside. The game table really helped in the evenings, young adults playing pool, ping pong, & poker into the wee hours. Will miss it when we can’t find it unbooked!

Great family house

My husband, 15 yo son, and two babies under two stayed here, and it was great. The kitchen was stocked with non perishables, bathrooms had travel sized toiletries, and there were even beach toys, wagons, and small coolers for the beach. It really made packing easier. There house is about three blocks from the beach, so it’s easy to pack a wagon and walk over. I loved that it was close enough to walk back with my babies for their naps.

50th Anniversary of Historical Society Homes Tour

We came to town for the homes tour. The rental met all our needs and was very safe and comfortable. We were disappointed to realize that the 2nd bath is down by the driveway and cannot be accessed without leaving the living area. The home had a well stocked kitchen with cookware and serving ware abundant. There was a lot of non perishable pantry items which was great for the 1st mornings coffee time. I slept better than I sleep in my own bed. It was very quiet, peaceful, comfortable and safe.

Nice house with some issues

Initially, the house was wonderful. Very clean and house amenities were nice. House is located in a lovely neighborhood and the walk to beach wasn’t too long. Our only complaint is that the hot water stopped working midway through our stay and property manager was notified several times. The issue wasn’t fixed before we left. Also, while the house has a lot of beach materials- chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, chairs were rusted, umbrellas were broken, and boogie boards unusable. One plus was the wagon available to bring materials to beach.

Quick Family Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at this sweet little house but had a few things that weren’t what we expected. The washing machine was broken and had stagnant water sitting in it. We didn’t realize that there was only 1 bathroom upstairs and that the second one was located downstairs. The railing near the keypad entrance door needs attention before some tries to lean on it. The deck wasn’t in great shape and shoes needed to be worn while walking on it. It was very clean and the neighborhood was lovely. It needs some TLC but we enjoyed our stay.

Awesome space and close to the beach!

I went with family for my birthday weekend and it was a blast! The driveway was large enough to fit my entire family and we were able to avoid parking on the street! This beach house has everything you need. Comfy beds, washer/dryer, outdoor shower, nice bathrooms, new appliances, and everything you need to go to the beach. They even have beach towels and chairs. All you need to bring is your swimsuit and sunblock! Even the pull out sofa beds were super soft and comfy. The deck was huge and could accommodate everyone for a nice dinner outside. The full bathroom was so convenient to have downstairs so we could take bathroom breaks while we lounged around in the hammocks downstairs. They also had a gas grill to bbq. The beach was close enough to walk or ride a bike and was clean. It was super easy to contact the owners and they were quick to respond to our questions. The place was immaculately clean. Can’t wait to book again!

Awesome little home on stilts

Less than a five minute walk to the beach to bedroom one queen bed and one toddler bed two bunkbeds one with two twin beds the other one with a queen bed and a twin bed and a queen size pull out couch bed the kitchen is fully stocked with all pots pans and dishes that you could possibly need And also spices in the pantry they provide you with plenty of things to do with the kids boardgames and a mini pool table plenty of linen and pillows and towels in both bathrooms we have a bathroom upstairs and a bathroom downstairs air conditioner works absolutely wonderful no problems there and they even provided an extra fan just in case there was eight of us and we have plenty a room they have an outdoor patio downstairs and upstairs they have washer and dryer picnic tables plenty of lounge chairs plenty of seating for the whole family and they provide you with beach towels this is all the good stuff that I wanna say about the property before I go on to the negative stuff ❤️❤️❤️ Amanda and her husband had to come and tape up the bottom door knob to the utility room because it got jammed thank you.👍 The washer does not drain properly the umbrellas were broken the wagon and all of the beach toys were filled with sand the kids lifevest were not zipping properly the hammocks were all torn up the barbecue grill was rusty and filthy and upstairs in the living room the door that goes out to the balcony someone made a hole in the wall and the mini blinds were messed between the dining room and little game area a few of them were bent and they're made out of aluminum metal. overall we had a great time while we were there these are just minor things that need to be fixed for the next person that rents out this home please update your pictures on this site so this way people know what to expect and what not to expect thank you so much🙏🙏

Quick getaway!

My daughter wanted a beach house getaway for her 17th birthday. This house was perfect! We had 4 of her friends join us and the 2nd bedroom was able to accommodate them all. The house was so clean and nicely decorated. It has a gaming table that has multiple game options that the kids really loved. It was just a short 6 min walk to the beach. We could have stayed a whole week and had been perfectly happy! I definitely recommend!

My family of 7 stayed here the last 4 nights and it’s been a great experience. It’s nice and clean, comes with lots to do at the beach or to have on the beach. lol sand toys, chairs, boogy boards and a wagon to pull it with. There is a ton of seating and comfortable. And it’s a short distance to the ocean. I would stay here again.

Never rent this home. They have four security cameras and watch every move outside of the home. No idea if the have them inside home. They have to adhere to rules vrbo has and they do not follow the rules.
