Since no one has replied to my privately emailed feedback, except to send me this review form, I'll paste from my email here: 1. When booking, I unclicked the boxes for the pet deposit ($500) and pet cleaning fee ($100). Doing so allowed my total to be refreshed, and I consented to paying the fee WITHOUT the $600 for pet stuff. However, my card was charged WITH the $600 extra included. Then, it was incumbent upon me to have to tell the front desk that this had occurred. Had I not caught the error and then advocated for myself, it would have cost me $600. All of that started off my stay on the wrong foot. It felt really dishonest, in fact, because I never authorized the initial charge. The $600 has since been credited back to me, but what a hassle. 2. When I called for beach chairs (and a bonfire), the first question I was asked was which credit card of mine should be charged. Again, it was incumbent upon me, the guest, to remind the front desk that I had booked the Valentine's special, which included the chairs and fire.3. Despite my calling AND texting the day before my checkout to remind the front desk that I had a late checkout (as part of the Valentine's special), my room was locked before the end of my stay, so they had to reprogram my lock to allow access. 4. Unit 10-301 had a leak under the right bathroom sink.5. You should advise guests that a) there IS an elevator in that building, because it is not marked from the outside and b) when taking the stairs, the landings are uneven (perhaps to prevent standing water) but these are not marked to warn the guest.
