The location was within easy walking distance to beach. House was clean and very well stocked with all your needs especially compared to other rentals. Our only recommendation would be to include instructions on operating the spa.

Great location!!! Only a few houses down from beach access. Short golf cart ride to anywhere on the island. House was very clean and comfortable. The backyard needs some work and we couldn’t get the hot tub to heat.

Overall Lovely Home

The house was very homey. It felt more like a family home than your usual rental. Filled with beach toys, umbrellas, chairs, towels, etc. The property has a huge deck off the main living room and an additional deck with some ocean views from the master. My only issue was that the hot tub was not hot or even filled up. They tell you that you must pay to heat the pool but not the hot tub too. It would be helpful if that was more clear. Otherwise, it was a place I'd love to come back to.

No issues clean and fully stocked

The home is as advertised. Everything was clean and the house was fully stocked with the essentials and even some alcohol was left by prior vacationers. We really enjoyed the pool/hottub with the lights at night and the grill for evening meals. The home did have bathtowels and beach towels but could have used a few more . Not a big issue because the house had a nice washer and dryer so we just washed the towels a little more often. As I am a little OCD with a home being clean I wish I would have had access to a vacuum to sweep up some of the sand that got in from my family. I had to use a broom, which again wasn't the end of the world because the floors were hardwood. Overall it was a wonderful relaxing experience, close to the Golf with all essentials and sand toys/chairs/umbrella/wagon. Thank you for everything!

GREAT LOCATION! Plenty of room for two small family's.

We really enjoyed our week here. The location to the beach was absolutely perfect. There were 6 of us (two families of three) and there was plenty of room to stretch out and hve our space. The owner personally called me in the middle of the week to check in, make sure we had all that we needed. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely home, needs deep cleaning

This was a lovely home, it was being cleaned when we arrived. Our check in time was 4 pm we didn’t get in until almost 6. In their haste to clean they did a very poor job. Would stay again if cleaning was assured.

Bad Service

We have been staying at Anna Maria Island for 15 years. This is always during holiday weeks, after Christmas or spring break. This was by far the worst experience that I have had in these 15 years. I do not usually write reviews. I’ve had only 1 or 2 mediocre stays on the island during the 15 years. We stayed after Christmas and it was colder than normal barely 60 degrees during the day. We’ve dealt with cooler weather in Florida in the past and it really is not a big deal. Generally we plan ahead and will rent a place that advertises a hot tub and a heated pool. The place was fine. Location was nice. This was a management company that I was not familiar with. The management company was Evolve. They listed two phone numbers for their local guest contact, the first one was their housekeeper/secretary and the other was the maintenance/owner. Come to find out owner was at the place a month before we came and left the day that we got there. There was no binder with instructions, had to hunt for a comforter for the master bedroom. The place wasn’t dirty, but wasn’t necessarily clean. There was a lot of dust in corners, ceiling fans. The fridge had an odor and there was a sewing needle in the rug that I stepped on. The pool was not warm and we had to contact the owner who seemed nonchalant about it and the hot tub even after the pool guys came out, never got really hot. Owner was condescending on why I would want a heated pool if there was a beach to enjoy.

Terrific vacation house!

Our 2 week stay on Anna Maria Island was fabulous!! Location of the house was perfect. Proximity to the beach was great. The rental listing doesn’t specify in detail all the items that are available for the beach, including a beach tent. Being able to pull inside the garage and unload as well as pack, the car was a bonus. It made a hot chore more bearable in the summer heat. Nice size kitchen with lots of extras. Living room with the big oversized wraparound sofa was perfect for the 3 of us, after a long day. The large covered porch was a bonus!! Like most summer days, we had pop-up thunderstorms, and were able to sit outside under the ceiling fans an enjoy the rain. I don’t believe the loveseat, oversized chair with ottoman and coffee table were visible in the photos of the porch. The master bed and queen bed were both exceptionally comfortable. The black out blinds allowed us to sleep in, which we all loved. The mature palms trees and other vegetation around the backyard made it very private and quiet for a late afternoon dip in the pool. The size of the house and the layout was just right for the 3 of us. Everyone had their own space. We were never on top of each other. Dave, the property contact was very attentive. We reached out about a couple of things and even got a few good restaurant recommendations. All in all a great vacation rental and we would go back in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful 2 weeks and thank you allowing us to bring our two corgi’s.

Our stay at the home on Holmes beach was very nice. the weather was great and the home was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We spent every day at the beach and closed each day with a swim in the pool and hot tub. The Host Dave was very accommodating and responded to our questions very quickly. We will be back.

This home was very comfortable and the pool was such a lovely break from the hot sun every afternoon! We especially loved how close we were to the beach and that the free trolley stopped right outside! The beach and pool supplies were great to have as well!

Great house for families. Pool area has plenty of afternoon shade after a long day on the beach. Amenities and pictures are accurate and owners were very nice and helpful.

Perfect Beach Vacation

We love this house! The location was perfect, the pool was wonderful, and the hosts were amazing. We had a couple of small hiccups the first day which they resolved immediately. Communication was prompt all week. Couldn’t have asked for a better overall week. It was perfect!

For 6 grand a week, expected better

This house needs a lot of updating and was not worth $6000 a week, maybe $3000. There was no instructions on how to operate the pool and spa so we wasted several hours trying to figure that out but never mastered it. Sand was everywhere in the garage and on all beach chairs. Beach chairs were plastic Adirondack and very bulky to try to take to the beach. Knob missing on kitchen cabinet and thermo-foil coming off front cabinet door and outdoor fans didn’t work. Ceiling fans were filthy. The upstairs decking is buckling due to lack of screws in boards and didn’t feel safe walking or sitting out there. Seemed like a safety hazard. Both entrance gates in backyard are not locked so anyone could walk in from the outside and gain access to the pool and the house. Owner came over and put a string and tied a knot on the outside latch, which anyone could have untied and walked right in. Garage door opener didn’t work and microwave exhaust flapper vent constantly makes noise when the wind blew. Overall this house needs a lot of work for the price.

4th time to Anna Maria and this is best place yet. Not a “beach house” but a “Florida home.” Great size for family and friends to visit. Steps to the beach and near all our favorite restaurants and shops. This place should never be empty. Would love to return to this place every year!

Wonderful

The home was beautiful and clean. We were grateful for the pool and hot tub since we had 1 1/2 days of red tide and going to the beach was unbearable. Over all could not have asked for a more perfect vacation rental at a beautiful home and location close to everything.

Wonderful Home!

We had a wonderful stay! This home has the best of everything. Just an easy stroll to the beach, equipped with all the extras from beach chairs and a WAGON to carry everything in, to everything you would need in a kitchen to cook with. Did I mention the most refreshing pool to take a dip in at night time?! We loved everything about this house. It is located right in the middle of just about anywhere you would want to go to on the island. Dips ice cream shop was our nightly go to place as well as going to the north end of the island for the most spectacular sunsets. Park on Gladiolus Dr and walk the short walk to the beach. We will definitely come back and enjoyed our stay. Lastly, whomever does your housekeeping is FABULOUS! This home was absolutely the cleanest I have ever been in as far as a vacation rental. She is a keeper!!!

Comfortable Home

This house was a very beautiful home. It was so clean that I felt it was my "home away from home". It was so convenient being a half block walk to the beach. After being on the beach there was an outside shower to wash off all the sand. My family and I loved swimming in the nice heated pool. Everything we needed for the beach was in the garage for our use and we especially loved the wagon with extra wide tires to haul the chairs, toys and beach bags to the sunny shore! The beach was pretty white sand and the water was turquoise blue. I would stay there again.
