Comfortable,quiet fenced backyard patio with chiminea, rocking chair and table for four to enjoy your favorite morning or afternoon beverage and/or meal. This is also an area your children may play. This home backs up to green space, so no neighbors behind you. The area has three large ponds with fountains and a 2 1/2 mile walking trail. All of which are less than a block away. The house was perfect for our family to stay while we were in College Station for graduation. Very clean and neat. Beverly was super accommodating and let us go early to the house to change clothes. Very quiet neighborhood that was close to A&M but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. Loved our stay.
We had 6 people stay here during Parent Weekend. House was decorated nicely and beds were comfortable. It's about 15 minutes from there to Northgate, but traffic was pretty heavy due to Parent Weekend. Quite, new neighborhood with several fast food places within 3-5 minutes away (we ate at Blue Baker's, Freddy's Frozen custard and used the Walgreens). There wasn't wifi that I was aware of (couldn't find a router signal), but I didn't contact the owner for help either. Owner was accommodating and checking in and out was extremely simple - we didn't get there until 11:30 pm. Would use again.
4 adults stayed for the weekend. Great house! Very clean, nicely decorated and felt like home for the weekend. The owner is very nice, responsive and made sure we had all we needed. Just a few miles from campus made traveling to and from the football game convenient. Used the outdoor chiminea to sit on the back porch and stay warm. Very cozy!
I would recommend this house to anyone and will check for availability for my future trips to B/CS.
7.8 miles to the wonderful Texas A&M campus. Just take Hwy 40 to FM 2154 and this will lead you to campus. Minutes away is the new HEB, Taco Bell, Whataburger, Spoons Yogurt and much more. Recently adding to our growing area is a Saltgrass Steak house. Layne's Chicken and Shipley's Donuts are opening soon very close by. Also, you are very close to restaurants via Hwy 6 but have the opportunity to return to a peaceful location for some needed rest after a BIG Aggie event.
