Located approximately two miles from the nearest neighbor, the property offers exceptional privacy and tranquility. Enjoy wooded walking trails, a shallow mountain creek, abundant wildlife, beautiful seasonal scenery, and incredible views—all while enjoying the comforts of a fully renovated and connected home.

THE SPACE

The main home features six bedrooms sleeping up to 29 guests, with accommodations for up to six additional guests in the private cottage.

Main Level: Large great room with gas fireplace and seating area; spacious kitchen with dining table for 16+ and bar seating for 8; outdoor patio with gas fire pit; two BBQ grills; additional benches and two 8-foot folding tables for larger gatherings. The main level also includes a king bedroom with 270-degree views, a large bunk room with one queen bed and two triple bunk beds, one full bathroom with large tub and shower, one half bathroom, and a laundry room.

Upper Level: Four bedrooms—one with a king bed and triple bunk, two with a queen bed and triple bunk bed and one with a queen bed and double bunk bed—plus three full bathrooms and a board game room.

Upper Game Room: Pool table, gaming table, bumper pool, large-screen TV, DVD/Blu-ray collection, and plenty of seating.

Lower Game Room: Three TVs, gaming systems, ping pong, foosball, basketball arcade game, and yoga mats.

Private Cottage: Kitchenette, sleeper sofa, loft with two queen beds and TV, and a full bathroom.

OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

Explore 35 private acres of mountain forest with secluded walking trails, panoramic views, and a shallow creek located just a short walk from the home.

Wildlife is part of the mountain experience. Deer, elk, wild turkeys, squirrels, and a variety of birds are commonly seen. Trail cameras have also occasionally captured black bears, cougars, and bobcats, although these animals generally avoid people. Guests should never approach or feed wildlife, and children should be supervised while exploring the property.

PARKING & ACCESS

A long, wooded driveway leads to the home with ample parking for large groups and a large turnaround area. Guests may park wherever is most convenient on the property.

The covered bridge clearance is approximately 130 inches high and 117 inches wide. Guests bringing oversized vehicles or trailers should confirm clearance before arrival.

Please note that this mountain property is not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. Stairs are required to enter the home and to access several major areas, including the kitchen and dining area, upstairs bedrooms, and game rooms.

WINTER AT BEAR CLAW

Winter is one of the most beautiful times to experience the property. Guests can enjoy sledding, snowshoeing, building snow forts, and exploring trails throughout the acreage. Nine pairs of snowshoes—six adult and three junior—are available for guest use.

From approximately mid-November through mid-April, guests should expect snow-covered mountain roads and a packed-snow driveway. The public road near the property is plowed, but the private driveway may remain snow packed.

Four-wheel drive is strongly recommended during winter, ideally with winter tires or chains. Two-wheel-drive vehicles and vehicles with poor tire tread may have difficulty navigating the property, particularly the hill when exiting.

Depending on conditions, guests without appropriately equipped vehicles may choose to park near Power Plant Park and ride to the property with members of their group who have suitable vehicles. Guests bringing snowmobile trailers should also consider the covered bridge clearance before arrival.

SECURITY & WILDLIFE CAMERAS

Exterior security cameras are located above and inside the garage and remain active for property security. Four trail cameras are positioned throughout the acreage to observe local wildlife. There are no active cameras in guest living spaces.

PETS

Due to severe pet allergies within the owner`s family, pets are not permitted. We appreciate your understanding. Guests traveling with service or assistance animals should contact us through the booking platform so we can address their needs in accordance with applicable platform policies and requirements.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS

The nightly rate includes up to 20 guests. For groups larger than 20, an additional $20 per guest, per stay applies to help cover the additional linens, laundry, supplies, and cleaning associated with larger groups.

Maximum occupancy is 35 guests.

Rental Agreement: A valid email address is required after booking so we can send a separate rental agreement for electronic signature. Because this is a large-group property, the agreement outlines important house rules and helps protect both guests and the property.

Occupancy: Maximum occupancy is 35 guests. The standard rate includes up to 20 guests. Groups of 21–35 guests are charged an additional $20 per guest, per stay to help cover additional linens, laundry, supplies, and cleaning.

Trash: One complimentary trash haul-off is included with your stay. Additional trash haul-offs are $65 each.

Pets: This home is not pet-friendly due to severe pet allergies within the owner`s family. Guests traveling with a service or assistance animal should contact us so applicable requirements can be addressed.
