New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

Frolic into vacation bliss at Skip 713 RR. Located on the top floor of the Hatteras High condominiums, this suite has a bright, beachy ambiance with colorful decor and all the comforts of home. With two spacious bedrooms and two full baths, there is plenty of room in this coastal gem to stretch out and get comfortable. The fully-equipped kitchen and adjacent dining area with seating for everyone make mealtime a delight. The nearby comfy living area has queen size sleeper sofa, wet bar, picture-perfect views, and access to the private sunny deck. Easy access to community features including pool, laundry, and grills complete this little piece of paradise.

Spring Break

We stayed at the condo for a quick family spring break. We have stayed at the resort in the past, but not this particular unit. Unit was clean, convenient, and fit exactly what our family needed for this quick trip. Parking is adequate, the coast is really close and really nice,. The resort is convenient to the National Seashore tourist locations, and all of the little towns.

Best part of the stay was the oceanfront view from the balcony. And the kids loved the pool. The kitchen could use a few more things anded to it, like pot holders for taking hot pans out of the oven. Also a dust pan to clean up the sand would be helpful.

We loved the look of the unit, cleanliness, and wi-fi. Had there been potholders, salt and pepper, more than 1 garbage bag, 1 dish towel, etc, and an elevator for humans, I would give a 5 star review.

Perfect location and clean condo

The location of the condo is a perfectly situated right next to the ocean and beach. It’s an ideal place for a family of 4 to stay. The condo itself was clean and having all necessary equipments in kitchen. The balcony with the direct ocean view is the best thing about the stay.

All and all the unit is decent. I wont stay on the top floor again, unless you install an elevator like the other buildings. Location was amazing. Waking up every morning seeing the ocean. Good Winds restaurant is amazing go by and tell Leon hello.

We chose the property for the view of the ocean alone. It was everything you hoped it would be. Access to the water was easy and close to property. Pool is nice. Be aware there are alot of stairs to get to and from unit.

Only thing it could have used was an elevator. When your on the top floor it's quite a hike to get to the top. But woild stay here again.

I like the location, as it is right on the Ocean beach, and has a nice porch view. It is also near where I go kitesurfing on the Sound. The building layout is good in that you have some privacy on the porch. I'd rate the interior upkeep as a B+, but that is OK for me. The price has gone way up in the last few years, not sure if I would pay that again.

Anniversary trip

The unit had everything we needed but a little dated but we knew that when we booked the condo. Only thing we want to say is the listing indicates cable is available but that is not true. The TVs have Roku and renter would need to log into renters home TV cable provider. Otherwise great location, views and nice area for beach and pool.

Upon arrival into the condo the kitchen was awful! The silverware drawer including silverware was nasty. Looked like it hadn’t been wiped out in years. There were also nasty dirty cups and skillets in the cabinet. So I thought I would just put them in the dishwasher and clean them myself. Opened the dishwasher and couldn’t believe my eyes. The dishwasher drainer baskets were rusted completely in half and down right disgusting, there was no need in wasting my time with all that. I just went to the DG and bought disposable plates and silverware. The sliding door that went out onto the balcony wouldn’t open, had to use the bedroom door. When I stripped my bed sheets to my surprise there was clearly blood stains on the mattress cover, I was speechless and that doesn’t happen often. This was supposed to be a special trip for my niece and I who is dealing with stage 4 terminal cancer that had never been to the beach before. We were supposed to be there from Friday to Wednesday but had to leave early on Monday due to the coastal flooding, not the condo companies fault. We made the best of the couple days we had. Management companies need to due better and house keeping should check everything in sight and out of sight!

Our stay in the outer banks

Location was beautiful. Our view of the ocean was incredible. Watching the sunrise was so peaceful sitting on your front deck! Unit is older and needs updating. But was clean. We had everything we needed in kitchen. There are 50 steps to get to the 3rd floor. No elevator! There is a lift to send up and down your luggage. Thankfully someone pointed it out to us and showed us( 2 women) how to operate it. To carry them Up would have been nearly impossible. Very heavy. Would have been nice if this was explained when previewing the property.

Nice Stay With Room for Improvement

The location of the rental was great, with easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. However, when we initially booked, the listing advertised a “colorful condo on the beach,” featuring vibrant, uniquely painted rooms that gave it a fun and exciting atmosphere. By the time of our stay, the listing had been updated and the rooms had been repainted in a more neutral style. While the new decor was tasteful, it no longer matched the original description or photos, which was disappointing given our expectations.The condo was generally clean on the upon first inspection, but we did notice some overlooked areas—garbage on top of the shower, under the bed, and a full dishwasher with unwashed dishes after being there for the first day.The most challenging aspect of our stay was the checkout process. We received multiple sets of conflicting instructions from various sources, which made it confusing to know exactly what was expected. It would be very helpful if the property owner could consolidate all essential information—checkout procedures, Wi-Fi details, house rules—into one clear, up-to-date guide.Overall, the stay had its highlights, but a few adjustments could greatly improve the guest experience.

The location was very nice, great beach access. I would come back here in the future. Only a few things to note: the middle bathroom is a walk in shower, very nice but beware the shower curtain sometimes goes outside of the little step up and water gets in the bathroom floor. Make sure there are plenty of towels down. The other thing that was very odd, the light switches in the bedrooms do not work any lights; you will have to turn the lamps on by hand. We found the light switch in the master bedroom went to the outlet to the tv…. Very odd. The unit smelled very fresh and clean. There were a few small spots on the couch and chair but nothing to worry about. The deck over looking the beach was absolutely amazing. This was my first time to this area, and if you’re not familiar, please note that things stores and restaurants start closing as the sun goes down. Kitchen was also very nice- fully stocked with bowls, plates, cups, glasses, etc. The electronic keypad for the door lock is great. You don’t have to worry about going to pick up keys or dropping them off.

Great location, condo needs some work

The location was great. We could see the ocean from the main room as well as the master bedroom. It was about a block from the building to the ocean. The condo was roomy for the four adults. The toilet seat in the master bathroom was broken on the bottom and sat askew. The desk in the master bedroom had a broken drawer and was dusty. The dresser top in the master bedroom was dirty. The other great thing other than the location was the young maintenance gentleman. One of the remotes in the main room was missing. Rather just leave it at that he found us another remote, programmed it and showed us how to use it. He went above and beyond.
