Ocean and Mountain view! Villa Secret Paradise: private pool!

Located at the top of a mountain surrounded by a green jungle, calm and heavenly, the villa has a private swimming pool as well as a rancho (gazebo) which lets you appreciate the beautiful view and the friendly visit of small animals (monkeys etc.); all this just a few minutes walk from the great beaches of Samara and the Playa Buena Vista.

This spacious two story house with large master bedroom on the mezzanine with a beautiful ocean view. There are two additional bedrooms on the ground floor and each have ample storage space. One of these rooms has two single beds with a full private bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The fully equipped kitchen is open to the dining room and the cathedral ceiling living room. This main living area of the villa is equipped with four glass doors opening onto a large outdoor balcony.

Private parking for 2 cars, B.B.Q., secured Safe, WI-FI and a washing machine are available. A 24-hour concierge service is offered directly on the premises if needed. These premises are a ‘’non-smoking-environment’’ and pets are not allowed.
The village of Samara is just minutes from the villa.

This village offers easy access to all services: restaurants, grocery stores, farm fresh fruits and vegetables, pastries, car rental, shops, crafts, banks, medical clinic, pharmacy, gas station, etc.

Costa Rica is renowned for its exceptional wildlife and beautiful tropical beaches. The city of Samara is located on the Northwest side of Costa Rica. Its beach, more than 4 km long, offers surf lovers a dream vacation.

Villa Secret Paradise

We had such an amazing experience at villa secret paradise! The glamping style of this house was perfect. Quiet, cozy, views to die for, and wildlife experiences we will never forget! It’s a short trip, about 8 minutes, to town and the waves and about 5 minutes to the beach you can see from the outside by the pool. This villa felt truly like a home away from home and made our trip to Costa Rica one of many. Thanks so much Pascale!

Diamond in the rough

This house is very cute. The pool was not ready for us on arrival, but was beautiful the next day which was a relief as there is no air conditioning in the house. There are ceiling fans throughout, but they could use an upgrade. I had to buy a fan in town to help. Needs labeling on all the switches. That being said, the concierge, Estefan, was marvelous. When we needed something he appeared in a moments notice with it. I would stay here again, but in slightly cooler months. Loved the location and all the wildlife, which were enjoying the pool as well in the heat!

Hidden paradise is correct

Overall, this was an amazing stay. The view and the ability to be hidden away in a jungle was amazing. A few things to note though, while there is a very operational split ac system, you have no option to use it. I don't feel that it was very clear that there is no AC in this house. Secondly, the bugs were worse than I thought they would be. Every night army of ants and these little black beetles would convene throughout the entire house. And myriads of other random bugs. The wildlife was fun: monkies, koaties and lizards. But to note there is no real notice to you not to leave garbage outside in the bins because racoons will get to it. We had them get in the garbage a couple different times. Overall this place provided a beautiful escape while lacking a couple of amenities that would have made this 5 stars. But we would book again (especially if they let us use the AC!)

Beautiful, Clean and comfortable but a few surprises

I definitely enjoyed my stay in Costa Rica and the house was beautiful and spacious for my family of 6 to sleep comfortably. Unfortunately, since we went during the rainy season, it was a bit nerv-wracking each and every time we had to drive up and down the extremely steep driveway and road between the house and the town of Samara. Even wirh an SUV and on a paved road, the tires would slide in the green moss. Other roads down the hill were so full of holes we got a flat tire the 3rd day. The house, the linens and pool were clean when we arrived, but the moment we brought out food or sugary beverages the ants would show up and just never leave. The wifi also fid not work, ever, but it forced a nice release from the outside social media world Scott, the caretaker, was the star of our stay. Kind, attentive, helpful, resourceful, responsive and just overall good guy. I would definitely reccomend this villa to my friends and family, but would advise not to go during the rainy season or without a 4WD, not if you dont care for steep road driving and if you are looking to escape the daily luxuries of cable tv or wifi

Endroit de rêve

Superbe propriété , avec toutes les commodités . Ne manque de rien dans la cuisine pour se faire un bon repas. Piscine parfaite. Épicerie et plage à 5 minutes de voiture. Nous avons vus des singes hurleurs ainsi que de nombreux oiseaux. Nous avons déjà hâte d’y retourner.

Great views

We met Torrie the property manager and he was right in time, the property was very nice with great views. There was almost always a nice breeze coming through and the pool was excellent. We had everything we needed there and if there was a problem Torrie addressed it right away, all in all great time

Hervorragend

Das Objekt ist wirklich ein Traum! Rechts den Dschungel Links das Meer viele verschiedene Tiere, Natur pur. Auch der Service war hervorragend, wir wurden herzlich vom property Manager empfangen und auch verabschiedet bei Fragen wurde uns sofort geholfen. Die Villa ist von innen wie von außen traumhaft schön, wir wollen aufjedenfall wieder kommen. Wenn ich könnte würde ich mehr als 5 Sterne geben. 100% Weiterempfehlung

Beautiful location in harmony with wildlife

This property is in an amazing location. It's a 15 minute drive to Samara Beach. We saw wildlife everyday outside as well as inside the property. You could hear Howler monkeys every morning and were greeted by Coatimundis, Iguanas, squirrels, and different birds during breakfast. The challenge was the bug management and the heat. The air conditioner was not powerful enough for the entire unit and made sleeping a challenge. The property manager was amazing and very helpful. Overall a beautiful property.

A beautiful house with wonderful views.

This was an amazing place for our group of 6 to stay for 11 nights. Scott, the property manager, went above and beyond to provide info and resources to make our time in Samara enjoyable. The same goes for the owner Pascal. They were wonderful and super easy to communicate with. The setting is gorgeous - being on the hilltop and able to see the vast forests below was breathtaking. We had an amazing amount of wildlife visiting daily -- howler monkies, coatis, iguanas... It is truly a private oasis in nature. Having said that, the location is a bit out of town and somewhat inconvenient if you plan to walk to Samara or the main beach. A car or motorbike (scooters and quads can be rented in town) is a must. The road is quite steep and difficult to walk up when it's very hot. Buena Vista beach is closest and a great place to watch the sunset (and walkable at that time of day). It would have been beneficial to have a/c for a break from the intense heat during the day (it was 36C each day of our stay). However, ceiling fans did a decent job of cooling down the place over the night for sleeping. Overall it was a great place to spend time relaxing in the hammocks or swimming in the beautiful pool.

Amazing

Our family of five stayed at this wonderful property. Scott the property manager was very helpful and informative. We enjoyed waking up in the morning having our coffee and looking at the beautiful view and listening to all the birds and the sounds of the monkeys. We would usually spend our mornings in town at the beach or exploring and then come back to the house during the midday heat to jump in the pool and relax and then venture back into town for the late afternoon evening time. A car is a necessity here since you are up in the mountain but it is worth it to get away from the hustle and bustle to relax in Paradise:)

Amazing views and wonderful pool

We had a great stay at this secluded place on top of the hill. Samara town only 5 min away with car. Amazing sunset view and wildlife close by with a black hawk nest just meters away.

Beautiful villa, top location.

What a nice stay we had at this beautiful villa. The last house on the hill, beautiful views all around the villa. Lovely pool. The house is clean, big enough for our family of 5. Quiet surrounding, you only hear the howler monkeys. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Good beds, nothing to complain about, only thing maybe the bad wifi... Quick response from the owner and caretakers. Best choice to end your holiday in Costa Rica with a relaxing stay at the coast. We would love to come back!
