Amazing views

The Apartments was clean and had a spectacular view of the bay of Kotor. The swimming pool was nice and not crowded. It was around 25 minute walk to the old town and around 15 minutes walk to nearest shop/bars. Commication was good. The keys were sent in the post several weeks in advance so it was important I didn't forget them before leaving home . No wifi at the property which was a little annoying considering it said there was internet on the Vrbo booking site. However local internet data coverage works fine. Overall I would recommended to others.

A beautiful stay in Kotor!!

We can’t recommend Irena highly enough as a host. Before our stay, she provided us with a wealth of helpful information, including fantastic restaurant recommendations and suggestions for things to do in the area. Everything we tried based on her advice was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel incredibly welcome—no question was ever too much trouble. Her apartment was not only beautifully presented, but it also offered one of the most amazing views we’ve ever seen. When we return to Montenegro—we already know exactly where we’ll be staying!

Wonderful place to stay

Immaculate property with every last detail thought of. Great base to explore the area . Walking distance to local restaurants and the sea . Sept weather wasn’t so kind to us so glad we’d hired a car and could visit other places - Kotor , Prevast , Lake Skadar , to name a few . Unspoilt and beautiful

Great stay

House is is great location on the Bay of Kotor with just a road between house and the sea. The house has three good size bedrooms and a kitchen/ small living room with an outside terrace at the back with access to the shared waterfront dock with Budo's restaurant on the ground floor (only does private meals - not open to public). The house has been done up beautifully and was clean and tidy with lovely sheets and towels. Budo was extremely helpful, friendly and easy to deal with and answered all questions promptly and gave us good advice as to where to go. He also saved us hours at the border by telling us a back route which was fantastic! The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, etc. Just a couple of things to note - the downstairs bathroom is a bit of a tight squeeze, there are only two chairs in the living room (but we were outside most of the time) and the upstairs bed was a bit hard for me. The Bay of Kotor is beautiful but busy...... Budo warned us about the traffic but was not expecting it to be as bad as it was and there were constant boats, cars etc at the beginning of the week but luckily it quietened down considerably as the week went on and September started. Montengro is absolutely beautiful once you get away from the busy tourist areas and sitting on the dock as the sun was setting is absolutely magical.

Fantastic villa and holiday destination

We flew into Podgorica which was around a 1hr40 drive away, through many many mountains. Roads are good but I am glad we drove and didnt have a shuttle bus due to the bends and cliff drops. Ana was extremely welcoming and helpful on our arrival, so we settled very quickly. The villa was very clean, and we had access to everything we would need (towels, wifi, laundry..etc) The pool was our absolute highlight and we spent most of our time in it. The villa is right on the lake front, but getting into the lake you had to walk on the shells and stone, which was a bit awkward with the younger child. Weather was all we could ask for around 36' most days, and there was always somewhere to shelter in the villa garden. There were plenty of local shops so we didnt have to always drive to the supermarkets. My only bits of advice to future travellers are take mosquito repellent, and Montenegro is not part of the roam anywhere destinations on the '3' mobile network. Would highly recommend both Montenegro and this villa to anyone seeking a holiday.

Perfect place to stay in Kotor

We had a wonderful two weeks in this apartment. It was clean, comfortable and had the newest of appliances and facilities. We spent many a morning and evening relaxing on the balcony and had spectacular views of the firework festivals and ships. The pool was an added bonus and we enjoyed this facility in the 36 degree heat, if you don't like swimming in the sea! The position of the apartment meant that we could walk to the old town within twenty minutes and visit the local restaurant and bars with ease. We ate and drank well and everything was good value for money. The boutique shops were excellent if you like browsing. We would absolutely recommend this as a place to stay. Annie was very helpful and everyone staying in that particular complex were kind, helpful and respectful. The days out we chose to do were also exciting (with some hairy bus rides!) Don't expect wild, raucous nightlife - this was a romantic, quiet, relaxing break, perfectly suited to our needs. We definitely hope to return in the not too distant future.
