Great location, cute apartment

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this apartment as a family of 5 and it worked out well for us. The location was perfect for seeing all of the historic sites of Paris. We were able to walk everywhere. There are a few grocery stores close by and lots of restaurants. Eugenio was very helpful when we arrived and provided some great information about the area.

The location of the apartment was perfect for our 3 generation group.

  • 4 of 5

Paris sights are within walking distance, a convenient grocery market is on the corner, a wine store, pattiserie, cafes...Eugenio was very informative and reliable. The layout of the apartment is odd, like it was originally designed for something other than what we were using it for. Also, I must note that well before the 60 day limit, I asked to shorten our stay by a day because of a change the airlines made in our flight. So, I am disappointed that I had to pay for 4 nights when we only stayed 3. Overall, it was a good place for us.

Family time in Paris

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 4 days in Paris in this adorable apartment. Close to everything, we walked most places. Convenient grocery and bakery! Our teen boys no longer share a double bed, place could have slept 5. We paid for early check in with time zone difference, glad that was an option.

Would highly recommend.

Great location, Great Host!

  • 4 of 5

Our family had a very positive experience with this property. Eugenio was extremely helpful, he was very quick to respond when we had questions before arrival and allowed us to check in early. Eugenio provided a wealth of information about the area that was helpful. The location is convenient to several metro stops, the most delightful bakery, Dalloyau (you must try their Macaroons), groceries, and cafes. There is also apparently a wonderful cheese shop nearby but unfortunately it was closed whenever we had a chance to stop by. The apartment was big enough that our 3 young boys could sleep comfortably in the basement, my husband and I slept on the couch/bed in the living room. The only drawback for us was with sleeping in the living room. There is a light in the courtyard that comes on when there is movement outside. This light would then shine into the apartment through the front door right where we were sleeping. The door is frosted so the light was diffused, but did cause some trouble falling asleep. A curtain over the door would solve this problem. Overall a great experience!

Very nice stay in Paris after Christmas

  • 5 of 5

We were 5 adults and many suitcases and all fit in, having a nice time in this very cute apartment conveniently located in Paris, walking distance from anything important (subway, convenient stores, restaurants and bakeries!)

On top of the location though, kudos to Eugenio, our host, who is super organized and precise on all explanations needed. We highly recommend this place and will look for its availability next time we can make it to Paris!!!

Thank you again Eugenio and Robson!

Perfect location for our visit to Paris

  • 5 of 5

The flat was very quiet especially for sleeping in the lower level part of it. It was very close to the nearest metro station (Rue du Bac - 1 block) and there were 4 chocolate shops less then 2–3 minute walk away, a pharmacy, and an organic grocery store and a gluten free café/bakery literally across the street from the flat. There is also a fantastic cheese shop very close by (ask Eugenio Who was terrific for answering questions and dealing with etc.) and we found a fantastic grocery store with a lot of prepared food fork the one night we were too tired to go out near the Sevres Babylone metro a five minute walk away. The food was comparable to Harrods food hall. If you are disabled, this flat might not be for you as it has 16 steps to the lower level. We walked to many of the museums including, the Musées D'Orsay, L'Orangerie, Rodin museum and Napoleon's tomb. Sometimes there are too many subway transfers and walking was more enjoyable. If we visit Paris again, we will most definitely use this flat again. A bonus was having a washer/dryer in the unit. We didn't cook at all but the flat was perfect for having breakfast. There were several places where one could buy beautifully fresh baked bread every morning within a block of the flat and we particularly liked buying fruit at the Naturalia shop just around the corner. The one and only fantastic restaurant in this neighbourhood at 36 Grenelles called La Petit Chaisse. We liked it so much we went twice in one week

Map

Car: not necessary

The elegant 7th is rich with art and culture, as well as the upper crust of society, with its dignified hotels particuliers housing ministries, embassies and luxurious private residences. Stately, subdued and refined, the 7th seduces with Napoleonic sophistication, and its iconic Eiffel Tower provides the reference point for all of Paris.

Visiting Rodin's museum nearby, its garden and sculptures will make this moment (website hidden) Germain, located around the oldest church in Paris, Saint-Germain-des-Prés, was once the epitome of Left-Bank intellectual chic. Today it is more luxury than literary and full of high-end interior design stores and fashion boutiques. There are also many cinemas, bookshops and art galleries. Some of the city’s finest restaurants and brasseries are in St Germain. Wander around the cafés, flower markets and shops at the Carrefour de Buci, have a coffee at the Deux Magots, walk along the historic Cour du Commerce St-André, a fascinating cobbled passageway where you will find the oldest café in Paris, Le Procope. Be sure to visit the Luxembourg Gardens, one of the city’s most beautiful parks. And shop to your heart’s - and wallet’s - content along the Boulevard St Germain, rue de Rennes and rue du Cherche Midi.
