My family of 5 just spent 2 weeks at Concordia…. And it was absolutely magical. The location is ideal and the views are incredible. The cabin on stilts we stayed in fit us all perfectly. We loved the feeling of being unconnected from technology but super connected to each other and the nature surrounding us. We filled our days with adventure and our nights with laughter and games. The staff was always there to help with our every need. The pool was beautiful and the restaurant served amazing drinks… I loved the painkiller…and delicious food… we tried everything… I loved the conch fritters. I honestly can’t wait until our next visit.

Stayed at an Eco Cabin with wife and two kids for 3 nights. Had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Cabin is very basic basic but had enough for us. No cell service was a plus for us, but wifi available closer to the pool. Pool was great for the kids to enjoy, with a great view. Restaurant was okay, but nothing great. Live music at the restaurant was awesome, especially with the view. Beautiful view, stars at night are amazing. Showering while looking at stars is amazing. Then there were the stairs - lots of them. Leg workout, but so worth it. Fairly easy hike to the beach is a huge perk! Love the quietness and remoteness of the area. Only real negative was the noise from the wind made sleeping a little difficult. But you can't have that view of the ocean with no wind off of the ocean anyways. We would stay again!

I've been going to Concordia for years and through several different ownerships. It certainly isn't the Concordia of old, when it was owned by Stanley Selengut and before Hurricane Irma, but it's probably the most affordable accommodations on the islands with the best views. The tent cottages, which they are now calling Cabanas for some reason, are rustic but really all you need in this climate. They could do a better job equipping them with amenities. Pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are a hodgepodge. The office was closed the entire time we were there, 2 weeks. The volunteers were really the face of the place, and they were great. The restaurant was open every day, as advertised, and the chef, Bernardo, was fantastic. The power went out several times during the week, which was not Concordia's fault. One evening when the power was out, Bernardo and Maya (the volunteer) continued to serve dinner and did an excellent job. Hannah, the host, was great and very responsive, even though she wasn't on-site. What the resort lacks, which it had before, is a sense of community and engagement. If they could cultivate a core on-site staff presence (i.e., office staff), it would make a huge difference. Nonetheless, I will continue to go back and do recommend it.
