Great value cozy stay in a beautiful part of St. John. Easy access to snorkeling spots and local eateries! Host was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

My second stay at Pura Vida was much like the first, fantastic. Friendly, responsive and helpful staff. Good view, nice decks and stocked with everything needed for preparing meals and going to the beach. Working generator and extra tank in case power went out, in order to run water pump and power electronics or refrigerator. I'll be back.

Good morning! Unfortunately commmunication was not fluid and we tried several times to attempt to remedy. Our managers went over there after you vacated and said there were no issues to the door. I tried to explain via VRBO texting system that a certain button needed to be pushed on the door lock. There was no malfunction on the lock at all. I’m sorry you were not able to receive our texts .

This served well for a group of young travelers to stay together with 2 full beds and a futon. Simple cottage with the basics that is somewhat walkable to Calabash market but otherwise need a car to get around. Driveway is super steep like many in STJ but they offer a pull off at the bottom for those that prefer not to brave it which was nice. The AC is in the bedroom so just be aware the main area doesn't get as cool, but is still comfortable and definitely needed because doors open didn't make it comfortable during the season we were there. Outside space could use sprucing up and not as much supplies provided as our other rentals on STJ, but overall it was a great value for a group to access the Coral Bay side of the island and all had a great time. Hosts were responsive on arrival and no issues throughout stay, easy checkout process.

Feels like you’re living in a treehouse and the view is spectacular! We have many bananaquits and hummingbirds as long as you give them sugar water!
