Beautiful home with plenty of room and a fantastic kitchen space. We didn’t utilize the lake, but it was nice to sit on the deck and enjoy the view!

This is a beautiful, spacious lakefront home. There is a pier and even a charming small beach. It was the perfect venue for our little family reunion. The best things I can say are: 1) The online description is spot on and2) Communication with the owner was helpful, comforting and put me at ease about so many things.

Cousin weekend

14 cousins from across the state spent 3 nights here. It had plenty of rooms and a nice kitchen that made it easy to do meals. Very satisfied with our stay.

Great place for a big family!

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

The home is situated on the corner of a beautiful lake and quaint canal. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable. It’s everything you need for a relaxing weekend on the lake.

The biggest and the best

There were 12 of us and everyone had their sleep privacy. With four bathrooms, everyone had their hygiene privacy as well. We also could communicate with the owner anytime and she answered promptly. Being by the lake made it a relaxing and pleasant time.

Perfect place for our family weekend

We had an extended weekend. This place worked great for us. The kids (4-9) - adults too - loved fishing the channel. I think all the kids caught at least 1 fish. A couple nice bass were caught at the end of the dock too. The sandy beach and swim area worked great for our group. There is a large well stocked kitchen - we had everything we needed - spacious living room - and many bedrooms Would definitely stay here again!!

Great house for kids and dogs

Property is extremely well equipped for famlies - with life vests of all sizes, plenty of games, lots of beds/rooms and bathrooms and a full kitchen. Lake is very quiet during the week. Property was a great fit for all ages.

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful time! We had children from ages 14 to almost one. They all stayed entertained the entire time. The easy access to the lake was priceless and we rented a pontoon to take rides. The fishing was so perfect for little kids, easy on and easy off. Plenty of space to spread out and most of the creature comforts of home. Highly recommend this place for a big group!

Family week

This property is very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare all our meals. The indoor and outdoor spaces allowed lots of space to gather for meals and spending time with family.

Beautiful home!

This lakefront property was stunning. Our grandchildren live in Michigan and we rented the property to have a holiday celebration with them, including matching pajamas and gift openings. A wonderful time was had by all and the property accommodated all of our needs from the teenagers to the six-year-old. The owners were great and very responsive. We look forward to returning in the summer to take advantage of the water, amenities and festivities.

A memorable stay <3

We got married earlier in the day courthouse-style then had family over for a potluck later in the afternoon. The house was more than large enough for the food and to sleep us and the few folks who traveled from NC and VA. Truly a night we wont forget. Thank you, Tia!!

Wonderful home for the whole family!

We really enjoyed our stay -- plenty of room to accommodate our large group of family members meeting up from different states. I booked the place and my relatives who arrived before us were so excited and impressed with the house! We especially enjoyed the hot tub, and the kayaks and paddleboat (despite Cooper Lake not being ideal for swimming). We were very comfortable inside the home as well, and very much appreciated the host leaving us a blender when I asked in advance if there was one available. Would definitely recommend this property!

So sorry to hear that you thought that the lake was not swimmable. We pride ourselves on adding sand as needed and keeping any weeds out of our swimming areas. This year has been particularly challenging due to the unusual spring weather and the lake being about 24" lower than typical. We're thankful for the recent rains! Come see us agian!

Celebration of Life for mom

Amazing. Perfect weekend. Everything was better than I could imagine. The house was so well organized and laid out. My whole family fit. Wish we could have enjoyed the outdoors more but weather didn’t cooperate. Would love to return.

Perfect for family gathering

The house has everything we needed for an annual family gathering of 16 people. Wonderful common space, lots of towels etc, and a warm atmosphere. The host was very responsive to any request. We enjoyed not having to worry about supplies as we were snowed in for a day. Even that came with needed firewood! The master bedroom is the warmest so if you like to sleep cool, stay downstairs. Getting in the hot tub while it was cold outside made for a great experience.

Great Property for Families

We really appreciated and enjoyed our stay. We were able to accommodate ourselves, our adult children and spouses and three toddlers very comfortably, and the open plan kitchen/living room was a perfect gathering place. Tia was a super host, she suppled porta-cribs, a high chair and a couple of booster seats so no one had to travel with them, and having four full baths was really a bonus. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was very well supplied, very large refrigerator/freezer, lots of plates, glasses and flatware. Her information and directions were very clear and she was sympathetic to our logistical issues. We had a lovely Christmas holiday stay. Very much recommend this property.

Great property!

We came for my brother's wedding and had lots of family staying. We booked two properties that Tia offers to accommodate everyone. Tia is very friendly and communicated well with us. We did not have problems at all while staying at the property. It is very inside the neighborhood area. The roads are a little bumpy, not many street lights in that area, but overall a great stay. The house has lots of room and is absolutely beautiful inside! My mother was highly impressed with how clean the house was! We loved the view of the lake and did enjoy using the paddle boat! Great house if you have a big family! Highly recommend staying at her properties!

Private family getaway

Very nice place for a family vacation, pictures are accurate. The master suite is luxurious! There were plenty of beds and bedrooms for a big group. The hot tub was wonderful, the indoor/outdoor seating areas were nice, spacious. The wifi works. The kitchen was big enough and equipped enough we were able to cook and eat in. We couldn't swim the lake near the shore because of vegetation but we did kayak and paddleboat all around. There is some great wildlife, we watched families of swans swim around over coffee. The lake is the right depth for pontoons and jet skis, we brought a little bit bigger boat and ended up putting it in a different lake nearby that had a good public launch. Tia and Mike were great hosts!

Incredible lake house for all to enjoy

We got together to celebrate my nephews' birthdays. The house was perfect. There was plenty of space for our huge family. As soon as you walk up alongside the canal, you start to feel the tranquility of lake house living. We spent the weekend there and both adults and kids couldn't have been happier. We took the kayaks and paddleboat out. It was nice having the option to take out the boat although we didn't end up taking it out. The kitchen is well equipped and is a really nice gathering place. The house feels really thoughtful and welcoming. Even though the weather wasn't the greatest, it was a perfect weekend.
