Rare West End Home • Walk to Old Port, Harbor View

This rare 1875 single-family home in Portland’s West End offers the perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. Just a short walk to the Old Port, waterfront, restaurants, and shops, the location makes it easy to experience the best of Portland without needing a car.

Inside, you’ll find two inviting bedrooms with Casper and Tempur-Pedic mattresses, Brooklinen linens, and a bright, comfortable living space with original wood floors and character throughout. The fully equipped kitchen includes updated appliances, and the home features fast WiFi and a dedicated workspace, ideal for both relaxing stays and work-friendly trips.

Enjoy partial harbor views and unwind in the private fenced yard after a day exploring the city. The home’s layout includes a main-floor bedroom and bath, plus a cozy second-floor loft-style space with an additional bedroom and office area.

This is a unique, centrally located home that offers both convenience and comfort in one of Portland’s most desirable neighborhoods.

Additional notes: Street parking is available nearby. Please check posted signs carefully, as Portland enforces seasonal and overnight restrictions. There may also be occasional weekday daytime construction activity on the neighboring property. Evenings and nights are quiet.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this adorable historic home! Jordan was a wonderful host, very easy to reach, incredibly helpful, and great with communication throughout our stay. The home had so much charm, and we truly had everything we could have possibly needed. The location was absolutely incredible and within walking distance of so many great places, which made exploring the area so easy. Parking was a little tricky at first simply because some of the signs were difficult to understand, but Jordan was super helpful in guiding us, and everything worked out perfectly. We had such a great experience and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Jordan, for a wonderful stay!

This home was very clean and had everything we needed for a great stay in Portland. We were there during the 'heat dome' even of July (2026) and the AC kept the place cool even though that can be a challenge with historic homes. Walking distance to the port and the shops and many of the wonderful restaurants. Enjoy!!!

The house had lots of charm and included many needed items for cooking, lots of bedding etc. It was in a central location as well. Jordan was very attentive and eager to assist. The house is adjacent to a house under construction so there was loud noise from 8am to 5:30pm weekdays and beginning at 8:30 on Saturday. If you’re an early riser and will be out of the house this may not be an issue. By check with the owner if you are seeking quiet about whether construction has ended.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

The West End is one of Portland’s most charming and historic neighborhoods. It offers a quieter, residential feel while still being just a short walk to the Old Port, waterfront, restaurants, and shops.

We love that you can step outside and explore the city on foot, then return to a more relaxed, neighborhood setting. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and comfort.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This home blends historic character with modern comfort in a way that’s hard to find. Built in 1875, it features original wood floors and classic New England charm, paired with thoughtful updates like a fully equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, and comfortable, high-quality bedding.

The layout offers flexibility with a main-floor bedroom and bath, along with a cozy second-floor loft-style space that includes an additional bedroom and dedicated workspace. Guests also enjoy partial harbor views and a private fenced yard, which adds a sense of space and privacy that’s rare this close to downtown.
