About Joey Farmer or Eric Wilson

We built, own and operate Cabins of Asheville, so when you stay with us and need something we can and will be able to help you. This is what we do and we love it ! Our names are Eric and Joey and along with our wives Christy and Jill work very hard to make each stay a great one for our guest. Vacation rentals are our passion and it is our goal for you to feel like each time you stay with us that you are coming to your own mountain cabin. Eric and Christy have four kids and Joey and Jill have five kids. We both believe and support adoption. We love animals and that is why most of our cabins are pet friendly. Being a part of our mountain community is very important to us and we work with local charities to help both kids and animals. Please come be a part of our Cabin of Asheville family. If you have any question or concerns please call us. My phone number is 828-775-4025 (Joey) and Eric's is 828-768-7368.

Nice and comfortable

Liked being able to unwind and enjoy the country. It was comfortable and the hot tub a plus for old bones. Thank you for a great place to get away from the grind.

Needs a little more accessibility to the cabins in event of poor weather.

  • 4 of 5

We truly enjoyed the cabin and the amenities. The only complaint we have is that with the cost of the stay, there should have been new sheets. The sheets and pillow cases were dingy and had threads pulling out of the hems and seems. Aside from that, the cabin was wonderful, the hot tub was wonderful, the fireplace was wonderful, the entire cabin was built and decorated very nicely. It was extremely clean and inviting. When we walked in it felt like Home.

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying with us! We are glad to know that you enjoyed your time with us. We do the best we can with the accessibility to the cabins. We are always available to help our guests when there is snow or ice. We want all of our guests to be satisfied with their time at our cabins! One of the owners and his family stayed in a cottage during the snowstorm that occurred during your stay for the sole purpose of being available to help any guests who got stuck or felt uncomfortable driving to their cabin. We spent a good part of the day shoveling snow so that our guests would be able to get in and out of their cabins. Thank you for bringing the sheets and pillowcases to our attention; we will address that situation with our cleaning staff because they should not be that way. Please visit us again in the future. Thanks, Jill Farmer

Wonderful experience

  • 5 of 5

My husband and enjoyed the serenity of Alone at Last. Even though other cabins near us were occupied, we felt like we were alone. Very relaxing! We will return!

Owner's Response: Thanks for coming to stay with us! We searched for many years to find the ideal piece of property to make our cabins feel private and secluded. We know how important privacy is to our guests, and we wanted to be able to provide that. We situated all of our cabins in such a way that our guests can't really see any other cabins once inside each cabin. We are glad that you were able to relax and enjoy your stay with us. Thanks, Cabins of Asheville
