Haleakala Shores #B-309 is a 2 bedroom / 2 bath, upstairs unit with a fully equipped kitchen, Washer/Dryer, Partial A/C, and Cable TV/DVD. It is right across the street from Kamaole Beach #3. With a King bed in the Master bedroom and two twins in the Guest bedroom that can be converted into a King bed as well. Haleakala Shores #B-309 can sleep 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Haleakala Shores is a condominium complex located directly across from Kamaole Beach II and III. The Kamaole Beaches are world class beaches with lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and playground with picnic areas. It has a protected sandy beach which is great for beach walks, whale watching in the winter, magnificent sunsets, swimming, snorkeling, and sunning. Haleakala Shores has a nice pool area, gas barbeques and free parking.

Great place budget friendly place to stay but a little dated…

This apartment is great: great location, spacious, clean, comfortable beds and couch, good showers. Our family of 4 was well accommodated in our 6 days stay and we had no issues.The only downside is that the unit is a little dated. This doesn’t bother me as long as everything is functional, and it was.My only suggestion to the owner/manager is to inspect/maintain the AC units (they are VERY loud!) and the seal on the door of the fridge (it doesn’t close properly and drinks don’t get cold enough). I would only recommend this place if staying at a slightly dated place is not an issue for you. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Travel Back in Time in Beautiful Kihei

We visited Maui as a family of 4 - mom, dad, and 2 teens. We stayed 4 days. Pros: Location - Kihei is very central. It is a great place for beginners to surf. Lessons and rentals nearby. The unit is on the 3rd floor, but only up one flight of stairs from the parking spot. There is an elevator in the building. They provided beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, a pool float, laundry detergent, dish soap, a sponge, shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, hand soap, and every kitchen appliance and utensil imaginable. They also provided toilet paper and paper towel. (Only 1 garbage bag and no dishwasher tablets) The sleeping arrangements were great. There is one traditional bedroom with 2 twin sized beds, a stand up A/C unit, a ceiling fan, an tv, and an en-suite bathroom. The main “bedroom” is sort of a room. It is separated from the living room by a system of movable screens. This room has a wall A/C unit, a ceiling fan, and an en-suite bathroom. You can watch the living room tv from bed by opening the screens. The living room, dining room and kitchen are big and gave us plenty of room to move around. Cons:Roaches. Granted, they were all dead, but still. This is very off-putting. I saw at least 4 of them. The unit is very dated and has a lot of random stuff in it - garbage bags with linens under the bed, a dirty mop. No A/C in the living room. It got hot. No real privacy in the main bedroom. If someone is watching tv in the living room, you can’t watch tv in the main.

Basic/ simple stay if you just need to sleep and shower

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was basic and simple if you just need to sleep and shower. The essentials in the condo such as a dollar one-ply toilet paper, dollar paper towel and tiny sample size bar soap and tiny sample tubes of shampoo and conditioner, small bottle of dishwashing soap and 4 washer detergent pods and like a 2oz of liquid detergent provided, was the down size. Basically, everything was probably bought from the dollar discounted store. We were initially staying at another condo in Kauai before landing in Maui. The condo in Kauai was very generous with essentials needed. They had way better essentials to start off our stay, mind you it’s very convenient when you’re on vacation, going to the store to get last minute essentials can be a hassle. The place was clean overall.

Just 3 things

We loved the unit they only things were:1. The seal in the frig weather seal strip on tbe door was not tight, we had to use tape to make sure door stayed shut and tight to keep our food cold2. The stove burner dials did not work as well as one burner. We had to make sure with a pot of water in burner that webtuened tbe dial to off3. The fan in luving room, we puckedbit up to use and it waa broken and not bolted toso we just left it in ths corner OTHERWISE this unit was AWESOME!

Overall good place to stay!

Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath. Reason for the 3 star ratings: white towels and sheets were stained and the unit faces the street so it can get quite noisy in the early am. Other than those minor points, it was a great stay and I would rent here again. The beach chairs were useful. The full kitchen was well stocked and the laundry detergent came in handy as we limited our packing for this trip. Clean and quaint.

The pool is amazing and my kids really enjoy spending time there in the evening. There is also a swap meet across the street on Wednesdays that wasn’t there the last time and it was so fun to walk over and do all my shopping for gifts to bring back home.

Mostly clean, but not the best sleeping arrangements for larger groups

We loved the lication, but didnt find the sleeping arrangements the best during iur stay. The bedrooms have separate ac units so they stayed cooler at night, but those who used the sofa bed slept in hot weather because there is only a fan. I texted the company at the number i had to see if we could get a an extra fan brought in but didnt recieve a reply. I didnt followup as we were busy any way. The pool pump had also broken so that was disheartening since we couldnt use the pool, but that stuff happens.

Great family unit

We stayed with our three kids (1,3,8). The walk to the beach was short and great distance for the littles to walk. This is our second time renting in Kihei and this unit was fantastic. The condo is way larger than expected and served us well for our week in paradise

Great location

You won’t find a better location to the beaches, restaurants and stores in South Kihei. Condo had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Pool and BBQ area was an added bonus.

Great Location but Parking is the Worst!

This property is in a great location, within walking distance to beaches and even though it wasn't listed, it had beach towels, chairs and an umbrella and a soft-shell cooler, which we were grateful for. We liked the washer/dryer combo. Cons: 2 cockroaches found in the kitchen. Granted, they looked like they were dying, but still we had to dispose of them and put all our food in the fridge. We arrived late and discovered that the sofa bed did not have bedding that fit. We texted the manager and received a reply the next day that they were in the place labeled sofa bedding. But, we never did find a place labeled that. We just made due with extra bedding. The bedding was not good. There was a big rust colored stain on a comforter we found for the sofa bed. All sheets were old and thin and the pillows were thin and lumpy. Definitely need to upgrade the bedding. The air conditioning is portable and it was loud. Fortunately, stayed in April, so it did cool down some at night and it helped to open the windows. The worst part of this place is the parking! If you will have anything larger than a compact car-DO NOT stay here. We spent so much time parking our rented mini-van. It took 3 people to park. A driver, and two people to watch to make sure you did not hit the concrete wall or the car next to you. The driver, usually had to climb out of the car on the passenger side. It is that small! We couldn't open the back hatch up when it was parked, so we had to unload, then park.

It was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were close to the beach and could walk there in about 3-4 minutes. It was well stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was furnished well with cooking materials. There were beach chairs, towels, and sand toys for us to use. It was very nice to have our own washer/dryer. The bathrooms are a little dated. I would recommend this condo for families with children. We enjoyed our time on Maui immensely.

Large condo! Great location!

We loved our recent stay! The condo is large, and the two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family of six. The property is clean and about a one block walk to a great beach. My only suggestion to the owners are buying new bath towels and bath mats. But the beach towels were great! Also, if you’re planning on parking a larger vehicle in the covered parking just know it’s a VERY tight squeeze. We were driving a Dodge Pacifica mini van and it barely and I mean barely fit. We chose to park on the street for the duration of our stay which was no problem and not much longer of a walk to the condo. I would recommend this property!
