Conveniences include a full size washer/dryer, a ceiling heat lamp in the modern bathroom, and fast speed internet. Whether you're unwinding inside or enjoying the peaceful outdoor surroundings as you sit on the front porch swing or play card games on the outside table, this cabin invites relaxation at every turn. You'll find fresh herbs growing around the house and raised beds at the back create a small garden space with fresh vegetables during season which can be enjoyed by guests. This cabin has everything you need to enjoy a short-term vacation, or a longer term stay, including a location that is within 10 minutes of downtown Andrews.

Security: This home is behind an automated gate with several other homes. Guests are provided an automated gate opener upon check-in.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please do not use wood stove per home owner request and safety reasons.

The Americana hosted by Joy was top notch! The cozy mountaintop cottage was perfect for the two of us! The place was stocked with necessities and more. Everything appeared to be brand new and we will consider staying there again for months at a time. Loved it!

Originally from Lexington, KY I have lived all over the United States and settled in the North Carolina mountains about six years ago. The mountains are peaceful and a perfect place to live or get away from the hectic life that most of us are used to living. My background is in business with over 20 years of property management experience.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is quiet, and this home sits back about one mile off of the road that take guests into the small town of Andrews which sits between the towns of Murphy, Robbinsville, and Bryson City. There are mountain views everywhere.

What makes this property unique

This cabin sits off a gravel road in a quiet subdivision, with minimal homes, and is in the middle of the woods but within a 10-15 minute drive into downtown Andrews. The cabin itself is behind a automated gate which guests love because it is secure and private.
