About Kelly Lloyd

We have lived in and enjoyed the Rocky Mountains for 25 years, from East and West Coasts we 'met in the middle' and are raising our family here. We live in nearby Summit County but love the Vail Valley, our teenage children are in school in Vail, one of us works in in the ski business, the other sells Real Estate in Summit County and Vail. This is a second home to us and another place to welcome friends to Colorado. We are all skiers and enjoy hiking, biking, rafting and all that the Colorado out-of-doors brings to us.

Kelly Lloyd purchased this condo in 2013

Why Kelly Lloyd chose Vail

We bought at Vail Racquet Club because of the welcoming family feel, the great location: so close to the Village, but out of the hustle and bustle! When I walked in the door here, I knew I found our Vail Valley home. We love the very close proximity to the river. In the Summer we open up the sliding glass door and feel like our little home by the river extends right out onto the patio and down to the river.

What makes this condo unique

Ground floor unit on the River, quite, cozy. This easy access unit is a short walk from where you park your car with a few gradually sloped paved pathway to the one level flights of stairs.

This location was better than I had even thought. The layout was excellent and well appointed. The river was so wonderfully soothing and close. I hope to come back soon!

We had a great stay! Very convenient to the town, bus stop close and easy to navigate. Easy checkin and checkout and pantry stocked with the basics were an added plus. 4th of July festivities in town were well done and a lot of fun, hope to be back soon!

Very cozy and highly recommended!

  • 5 of 5

I brought my mom here for Mother's Day 5/17. What a great time of year to enjoy peace and quiet in Vail. Although many shops and restaurants were closed due to the off season, we thoroughly enjoyed this condo which provided every amenity we needed. There was nothing better than sitting outside with a cup of coffee in the morning, listening to the rushing river mere feet away. We were even visited by a little fox who ran across the property one evening. This property is barely within sight of I-70, but you cannot hear it from inside the condo. Very cozy condo that I would highly recommend and plan to visit again in the summer.

Everything You Need

  • 5 of 5

This place worked out beautifully. It has a nice view of the river and a footbridge over to other condos in the Vail Racquet Club. The kitchen is very well-stocked, unlike a lot of rentals. It is nicely furnished, and offers a pleasant family setting. The bedrooms were comfortable. We had our own bathroom, while our kid took the one in the hall. The shuttle is about a 50 yard walk. It has a really good gym ($25/day) Usually all of those things aren't happening in the same rental, but this one did the trick. We would go back.

Exactly as the pictures show it, perfectly comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

This condo was perfect for us and our 2 adult sons. The beds were very comfortable and the seating in front of the wood stove and tv was perfect. Easy to cook as the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes we needed and the grill worked great! The shuttle bus to Vail was so easy to use and conveniently located...a short five minute walk from our front door and the buses come quite often. This was key to us and the ride to Vail was easy...15 minutes typically. We enjoyed being close to Vail but yet not right in the middle of it. Kelly was great to work with and let us know she was available if we needed anything...which we did not. The restaurant at the Vail Racquet Club was very good. Extra tip: I rented ski's at Christy's Sports(less than 50 yards from the bottom of the Gondola in Vail Village). They stored them each night for free so I did not have to carry them back and forth!
