I am Istvan, director of Conservation Enterprise and Community Relations at Romania's largest conservation organization, Foundation Conservation Carpathia. Lizno is our family project, where my wife, children, and I are preparing the location for an unforgettable stay.

Why we chose Lisnău?
We fell in love with Lisnău because it feels like a place where time has slowed down, yet it is incredibly connected to everything that makes Transylvania famous.
The Authentic Village Vibe: Unlike the busy, crowded tourist centers, Lisnău has kept its traditional charm. We chose this neighborhood because it offers a sense of peace that is hard to find nowadays—where you can still hear the sheep bells in the distance and see a sky full of stars at night.
The Perfect "Middle Ground": We wanted a location that offered total privacy without isolation. Being just 45 minutes from the vibrant energy of Brașov and 40 minutes from the wild beauty of the Vama Buzăului Bison Reserve means we never have to choose between a "city day" and a "nature day."
A Paradise for Families: As family people ourselves, we were drawn to the safety and openness of the area. It is a neighborhood where the air is crisp, the traffic is almost non-existent, and kids can rediscover the joy of playing outdoors.
