The cabin was cozy for my husband and I and our cocker spaniel who loved going on walks around the property. It was stocked with everything one could possibly need and I could turn on the electric fireplace and electric rug from under the covers so that it was warm on chilly mornings. There was also air conditioning for sunny afternoons. We hope to stay again. The host was very responsive and kind.

This would be a cute little place to stay in the cooler months or the winter, but we were going to stay here in July and the property owner did not tell us that the wall unit AC was not functioning so he had a rotating fan inside for us and a portable AC unit that you had to pour water in which neither did anything it was over 90 in there. We were only in there maybe four hours and couldn’t take it with our two small dogs so we checked out but he did give us a full refund which was appreciated very nice guy. I just wish he would’ve been upfront about the AC not working properly.

The wall a/c unit has been serviced numerous times & still underperforms. This is my 1st season with the unit so I have purchased a portable a/c unit & orbital fan which are effective for the evening hours until I can purchase & install a rated unit.
The days can still get warm.
The following message was sent to the guest.
“The Cabin is all ready for you!
Check in at your leisure.
Feel free to park directly in front of the Cabin.
The windows are open to get fresh air. The portable a/c unit takes water (it’s currently full). It should cool down the Cabin nicely once you shut the windows. Directions are w/the unit.
Let me know if you need anything.
Welcome!”
When the guest was still unsatisfied, I provided a full refund.
David was a wonderful host. He was very helpful and prompt for my girlfriend and I. His cabin is wonderful and just what you need if you’re looking for a little getaway in Colorado.
