Head into the compact, yet well-stocked, kitchen where you'll find all the everything you need to fix a family meal, just supply your favorite foods. The wooden dining table is set for four, yet offers additional chairs to seat eight.
In the back bedroom you'll find a king bed, and in the front room are two twins. Kids may like slumbering in the living room with the queen-sized sofa bed. In the colder winter months, keep cozy with the electric heater or electric blanket provided, although the central heating should keep you plenty warm. The full bathroom includes grab bars for those who need a little mobile assistance. Altogether, the home can sleep six comfortably.
An energy-efficient washer and dryer will help keep up with the laundry, and the utility room in the back of the house could act as a great boot storage space as well. This home is also dog friendly, and you're welcome to bring your canine friends with you for an additional pet fee.
Cascade Locks is the lowest point on the Pacific Crest Trails, and each August the city hosts a fundraiser for the trail on Thunder Island in the Columbia. If you're around in November, kick-start your holiday spirit with the annual "Lighting of the Bridge," when the structure is decked out in its holiday garb. In December, the city finishes its Christmas decorating with its "Festival of Light."
