This newly remodeled rental is located in Laie on Laie Bay on the famous Hukilau Beach. From the second-story front door landing you have a view of the warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Your view from the bedroom balcony looks out on the Laie Hawaii LDS Temple with the back drop of the brilliant green Koolau Mountain Range. One hundred feet from your door on Hukilau Beach you can swim, surf, snorkel, kayak, and wander out to nearby Goat Island less than a half mile from your doorstep. Nearby are shopping centers, Brigham Young University—Hawaii, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and the historic village of Laie. Inside the seven-hundred square-foot apartment you will have the comfort of a spacious living room, a cozy kitchen with a granite countertop and a dining area, two comfortable bedrooms (one with a queen bed, the other with two single beds) and a brand new sparkling bathroom. There is room for a fifth person to sleep on a futon. A flat screen television, a DVR, and wireless internet access are also available for your use. The unit comes with dishes, plates, cups, glasses, and silverware for six. Also, you will find pitchers, a coffee maker, an assortment of pans, a microwave, and burners for cooking and warming up soups and other hot delicacies. In the closets you will find beach towels, bath towels, extra blankets, and extra bedding to add to your comfort and coziness. The owners live on the property and will be happy to welcome you when you arrive and can answer questions about local attractions, restaurants, and other places of interest. Apartment was okay
The apartment was clean and acceptable for the price. Hotels in this area are considerably higher. The downside is the area itself. There are very few places to eat unless you want something like a food truck or Micky D's. Also, there aren't many good beaches in this area. Everything is 20 to 25 miles away and traffic is terrible both North and South. We put 900 miles on a car in two weeks.
We enjoyed this place. Had everything we needed and location was excellent. Would gladly stay here again! So close to the beach!
A great beach rental on the pristine north shore
An ideal location right out the backdoor onto a beautiful beach. The Williams family are terrific hosts and will assist you if needed on answers as to places to go in the area or any questions about the unit. The apartment is comfortable with a nice queen bed in the main bedroom and 2 single beds in the other bedroom. We were exploring most of the time and spent time in the apartment between beach visits and sightseeing. There is a hotplate and microwave for cooking so if you want something fancier for supper just go to one of the many dining options in the area. We ate most breakfasts and some lunches in the apartment and ate dinner out. If you want to buy alcohol you will have to go 5 minutes north or south of Laie as it is a dry town. It was not a problem at all as Long Drugs south of Laie was very convenient. We had a great time and heartily recommend this rental as good value for the money.
Great Hawaiian Vacation
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in Oahu. I am so glad we decided to stay on the North Shore. It was convenient to many of the places we wanted to visit: The Dole Pineapple Plantation, The Polynesian Cultural Center, The LDS Temple, BYU Hawaii, Turtle Bay and the Kualoa Ranch. We traveled one day to Honolulu and went on a tour of the City and Pearl Harbor. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with the Williams family. The apartment was clean and comfortable except the stairs that we had to climb several times a day. We were a little disappointed that the ocean view that we were supposed to have was only visible when you stepped out on the porch and looked between two houses. The picture that we saw looked like we had a window with an ocean view. There was easy access to the beach, which was great, and then we had a great view. There was a list, in the apartment, that told of places of interest to see and favorite places to eat. We enjoyed lots of good food. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much. The North Shore is very beautiful and much more peaceful than the big city. Loved it!
This property is in a great location for the activities we wanted to do and we loved being right in the beach. Watching the sunsets from the beach was gorgeous. We ate breakfast in the beach, which we loved. It was wonderful to have immediate access to the beach. It made it so easy to enjoy. And it is a beautiful section of beach. The apartment was clean and comfortable and any questions we had were immediately answered.
perfect beach front apartment
We had a wonderful family vacation. The apartment was spacious and had enough sleeping room for our entire family. We were steps away from the beach. The apartment is close to a public beach area but we never felt crowded. We almost had our own private beach. Close to so many attractions in Laie. Parking was great. Close to restaurants, grocery store and of course slurpee's at 7-11. I was able to do laundry. We felt safe and Lindsey was a great resource for great local attractions. I would recommend this apartment to a family of 5 adults or less. Body boards, beach towels, and beach chairs were available for us to use. Enjoy!!! The Petersons of Idaho❤️😎�
The Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU-H are located 1 mile away. The North Shore is located 7 miles away with fantastic waves, swimming, snorkeling, and whale and turtle watching. You can walk on the reef to Goat Island by walking 5 minutes up the beach.
