Discover the beauty of Raleigh from this first floor 1-bedroom apartment. The serene space features a comfortable queen bed and a delightful living room blending vintage charm with modern comfort, featuring antiques, eclectic art pieces, and a relaxed, homey vibe perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Guests enjoy a clean bathroom with a refreshing shower and handy hair dryer. Climate control keeps the apartment cozy no matter the season. Whether you’re unwinding or working, this enchanting spot offers a peaceful retreat for up to four guests (1 queen bed and 1 queen blow-up mattress). You’re sure to make fantastic memories with a stay at our place.
The space:
Apartment with full kitchen, full bathroom with spacious shower, separate living/work area and big, open bedroom. Off-street parking included. Walkable to historic movie theatre, bars and restaurants.
Guest access:
This is a separate residence apartment with its own entrance and driveway for parking.
Other things to note
While our home is in the heart of the city or Raleigh, it’s nestled in a lush, green area of the Southeast and located on the ground level — which means you’ll get the best of both worlds: convenience and natural beauty. Guests often enjoy spotting wildlife like rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks and so many beautiful birds. You will probably see hawks (they love the chipmunks) and if you're very lucky, you'll hear or see our gorgeous resident barred owl, "Tootsie" (if you grew up in the 80's you might get that reference!). She boasts an impressive 5ft wingspan and powerful "hoot".
Because of our close connection to nature, it’s also possible (especially in summer or after heavy rain) that a curious bug might make its way indoors — particularly if food is left out or the door is left open. Please know we’re committed to keeping the space pristine: we have professional pest control service (Aptive) every two weeks, and we keep everything clean and well-maintained. Despite our best efforts, an ant or "palmetto bug" might slip through occasionally, but we do everything we can to minimize it.

My wife Allison and I grew up in Raleigh, NC and Richmond, VA respectfully, and have lived in our home here in Five Points for about 10 years. We have two wonderful and active boys who love to scooter and ride their bikes in the neighborhood.

We decided to open up our 1st floor apartment to guests so that they could get a chance to experience saying in such a great, walkable and historic neighborhood.

Our property is a 1st floor apartment with it's own separate entrance, and off street parking. It is only 20min from the airport and there is a city bus line at the end of our street, making it a perfect location from out of town guests to have a private stay in a wonderful neighborhood.
