When we first arrived, the condition of the house was unacceptable. There was dog hair all over the floors and furniture, dust throughout the home, and it was clear the property had not been properly cleaned before we checked in. We called the property manager right away, and the cleaning company sent someone back out. She told us the cleaner who had been there earlier that day had left before finishing the job. Had we not called, I'm not sure anyone would have come back. Even after the second cleaner finished, the house still wasn't anywhere close to what I would consider clean.We also had a few maintenance issues during our stay. The outdoor shower was broken when we arrived, but they fixed it quickly. The upstairs A/C also wasn't working, so they had to come back and install several window units.On a positive note, the location was great. The house is very close to the community pool, just a short walk to the beach access, and only a few minutes from downtown and the shops. It also comfortably accommodated our family of 10 with plenty of sleeping space for everyone.Overall, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the home and the number of issues we had to deal with during our stay. It was also frustrating that there wasn't a vacuum available to clean up throughout the week. If the property were cleaned thoroughly between guests and better maintained, it would be a great place to stay because the location and layout are excellent.
