This detached holiday home is situated in a very quiet location at an altitude of 1400m and approx. two kilometres from the Klippitztörl ski area. It is an ideal starting point for excursions to the nearby ski area as well as for long hikes. The house is easily accessible in both summer and winter. However, we recommend that you bring snow chains.
With a living space of 150 m², the holiday home offers space for up to 14 people (over-occupancy on request. There are 4 double rooms, one of which has a bunk bed (2.0 m). There are also 2 sofa beds that can be converted into double beds. All other beds have a length of 190 to 200 cm. The house is heated centrally with pellets. There is an additional wood-burning stove in the lounge on the ground floor. The bathrooms are equipped with a shower and WC, and there is an infrared sauna in the bathroom on the upper floor. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker, coffee machine for filters and Nespresso, fridge with 190lt and a freezer etc.
To accommodate more people, it is possible to create space for up to 30 people in cooperation with neighbours. The houses are about 50 metres apart as the crow flies.
The landlord can offer a drinks service with beer, wine, mineral water, cider and Swiss stone pine schnapps at a reasonable price for those travelling a long way (should there be a lack of space in the car). You can enquire about this when booking or clarify this with your travel documents with the landlord on site. In cooperation with some guesthouses, hut evenings with pick-up can be organised.
Your pets are very welcome here. However, dogs must be kept on a lead outside the property due to the nearby forest.
The house is surrounded by 700 m² of land. In the garden area you will find a sheltered seating terrace, a children's playground, a barbecue area, a sunbathing lawn and plenty of parking spaces.
Surrounded by pastures and forests, the house is located directly on the countless hiking trails that lead through the area. The nearest restaurant is 200 metres away. Bad St. Leonhard, the next larger town, is around 12km away. There you will also find the nearest shops as well as a bank, doctors, pharmacies etc. Thanks to its central location, the house is ideal for excursions to Styria, Klagenfurt and Lower Carinthia as well as to Slovenia or Italy. A winter and summer paradise awaits you. Whether skiing or hiking, there is something for everyone here. From July to the end of September you will find yourself in a mushroom paradise, where everything grows on your doorstep. Snow is guaranteed on the pistes from the beginning of December to the beginning of April. Thanks to modern snow-making facilities and piste equipment, you can expect perfectly groomed pistes.
