Beautiful location! I loved the stream in the backyard. The house was a gorgeous old farmhouse. Very clean and had everything we needed. It is confidently located near Waterbury center. I would highly recommend this spot!

This little cottage was a great stay and experience. The road and driveway may feel scary at first if you aren’t used to that type of terrain, but once you arrive it is so darling you will completely forget about it. It’s very close to town, but you feel a whole world away. The beds were extremely comfortable and the house was a good mix of historic and charming updates.

What a lovely home. It was charming. The first thing we noticed was the sound of the babbling brook. When you were home you felt a million miles away from everything even though you were only 10 minutes away from downtown. The house was clean, and the beds were comfortable,, We would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend it. Hope for chilly weather and enjoy the fireplace.

We had a very nice time. The location was very convenient for what we were doing. Our only concern were the stairs, there were no hand rails. And being an older house (though nicely updated), the stairs had a non-traditional rise and tread depth, and a hand rail would have been used by the 3 women over 70 renting. A brighter light over the dining table would have also been appreciated. Thanks Angela!

Thanks for your feedback, Cindy. We're glad you had a nice visit. It's definitely a quirky, antique house. We've thought about putting a handrail on that portion of steps but it feels like a tight space for it! We're going to look into some options, though. Take care, Angie

This is a very cozy cabin with lots of historic charm. We found the property to be just as described. Everywhere we wanted to see was within driving distance of around 30 mins

Lovely quaint cottage next to a stream. Very pretty. Big open living space and fully equipped modern kitchen. We found it a little tough negotiating the stairs and to have the bathroom and bedrooms on separate floors, but then we are seniors. Very close to everything you need in Waterbury.
