We had a wonderful 3-night stay at A Wise Way. The location is perfect—right on the beach, close to Cape San Blas, stores, and downtown Port St. Joe. The house was very comfortable, and we appreciated meeting the owner’s grandson next door, who kindly offered to help if needed. We loved the peaceful days on the beach with no crowds. Would definitely stay here again!

House has amazing location with virtually your own private beach. House is spacious and the kitchen has everything you could need. Host company was very friendly and attentive and responded within minutes when needed. Made for a perfect vacation for my group of 6. Weather was great all week

Great getaway

Perfect for our small family, plenty of space for a family of 3-6. Unfortunately the washer was out of balance during our stay.Quiet beach with plenty of privacy. Would love to stay here again.

Enjoyed it

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The master bath isn't private to the master bedroom - the door to the master bath is just outside the door to the master bedroom, so bring a robe.

Awesome Beach House

We had a great time at the beach the week after Christmas! Plenty of room for our group of four adults and two dogs. Not sure who liked the beach more…We had not stayed on that part of 30A before and will definitely stay again as the beach is beautiful and very pet friendly…and 5 minutes from The Raw Bar! The house is great and very well stocked! Don’t let the pictures of an “older” house discourage you from renting this one.

The waves of St Joe's

This was an absolute marvelous stay, having access right out to the beach could not have been better. The house was great and served us well, but is well worn and could use some basic feature updates. We would stay again but I'd try to negotiate a better rate.

Delightful

Well appointed, comfortable and pet friendly. The beds were perfect for us. We enjoyed the one floor, only stairs are to the front door. Laundry room down stairs where car is parked, no access from inside the house, but that is ok. Shower outside and boardwalk to the beach was just a very short walk. Will stay again.

Amazing place!

We loved the place, views and walks on the beach. We only had one real issue, the door code they emailed us didn't work and we had to call to get another one that did. We never found the thermostat to change the temperature but didn't need it in November. We hope to come back again.

We loved the location and access to the beach. Cleanliness not up to standard though.

While we liked the property, it needs a through deep cleaning. Dusty walls, fans and light fixtures. Place could use some TLC with updated hardware for doors and bathroom showers.

We are happy that you liked the property! We are sorry that you came to the home and it was not properly cleaned. We hold our homes to a very high standard of cleanliness and this definitely does not meet those standards. We are passing along your suggestion of updating the hardware for the doors and bathroom showers to our local staff. Thank you for your feedback!

Really nice older beach house in a relaxing location

The house was in great condition for it’s age and had everything we needed with plenty of room. The deck had been recently renovated and was very sturdy. The kitchen included everything we needed to cook any meal. The only thing was not being able to get the dishwasher door to close and lock, could have been operator error😊. The beach is nice and not ever very crowded. The neighborhood is very quiet. We really enjoyed our week and are already considering on renting this house again next year.
