The Space:

Important: This property rents for full weeks (Saturday to Saturday) during peak season. Do not book shorter than 7 nights without contacting us first as unapproved short-stay reservations will be canceled.



GULF FRONT 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom home located in the Sweetwater Shores subdivision! You are steps from the beach with unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico!



The top floor of the home features two en suite King bedrooms and double doors to a covered, screened deck for breathtaking Gulf views!





The main floor features a chef's kitchen, ample space for dining and/or entertaining enhanced with oversized windows to capture every angle of the Gulf! Downstairs has beachy decor complete with shiplap walls and natural pine ceilings, a large den, bedroom and a full bathroom.





Outside is a private outdoor shower, firepit, and a private path right to the beach! You're also right around the corner from the famous Indian Pass Raw Bar - live music and fresh oysters!





Salty Beach offers fast, reliable internet along with streaming TV services for convenient entertainment and connectivity. This unit is a non smoking unit, and is pet friendly for an additional fee. (dogs only please) Bookings through a third party site (VRBO), will have this fee added onto your reservation at the office.

This unit rents for a full week during peak season and holiday weeks.



Monthly reservations accepted Jan-Feb. Call or email for monthly rates.



"Bring your furry friends along! This pet-friendly property warmly welcomes dogs for an additional fee of $150 per dog (maximum of two). Breed approval required—contact the office for details."

Perfect layout for large group! Beds very comfortable and the upstairs master bathroom is gorgeous, nothing like a picture window to the ocean while taking a shower!

The house was awesome & solidly built (it doesn’t sway in high winds). The decor is a great balance of mid-century modern and contemporary beach-comfort. The kitchen is well equipped, but the cabinets over the cooktop could use a scrub. The beds were comfortable and cozy.The real attraction is definitely the view and beach access! There are stunning sunrises and sunsets, and sound of the wind & waves. Every rental has its quirks, and other than some issues with inconsistent hot water, this house was as near to perfect as I’ve seen!

Great stay. Property is well taken care of for a home the offers ocean front accommodation. My only disappointment was in regards to the mattresses. I’m big on comfortable sleeping and the mattresses are a bit broken down in most of the bedrooms. But wear is to be expected, hopefully they can get new ones soon for whoever stays in the future.

Perfect in every way!

This property is amazing! The view is unbelievable! Sunrises and sunsets are beautiful. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The beach was not crowded. We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. Excellent for pets too. We can’t wait to go back! You will not be disappointed!

Salty Beach is a 5 Star

Less than 100 steps to the ocean. Great ice machine. We had a couple 65 years, our two daughters 34 years,one son 37 years, 2 of their spouses and 3 children 7,4 and 2. Total of 10 people and no problems. We parked 3 vehicles comfortably. Best ever beach vacation. Thank you. Al

Beautiful location

We have stayed in port st Joe before and were looking for somewhere new to stay. The view from this house and the fact that it is right on the beach is hard to beat. We had 2 kids and 7 adults (plus 3 dogs) in the house and there was more than enough space! We had a couple issues with hot water and it does tend to go cold upstairs at times. I thought the kitchen could have been a bit more equipped with cooking necessities but we were able to cook plenty and enjoy it all. The upstairs master bed really needs to be flipped or replaced! It slopes terribly on both sides. I would also recommend bringing some of your own towels and wash cloths for showers because only one is provided for each person. Overall this house helped make our vacation exactly what we wanted it to be this year!

No Surprises! A Welcome Surprise

I'm going to give a short and sweet review. Stay here. The property was hurt by a hurricane a few years ago and there are still some minor issues...but nothing that disrupted our stay (some curtains weren't hung, water temp was a little timid, some of the door handles were dated and you had to jiggle them). We had a couple minor mishaps that were not the property's fault, but they were resolved quickly! Anything negative about the property can absolutely be made up for with a quiet beach, great customer service, and a fantastic family vacay! Thanks Salty Beach!

Salty Beach

No complaints on home itself. Beautiful home, great location, close to all places you want to go. Had major problems almost all week with streaming on direct tv, tv and internet down all the time. Rebooted router approximately 30-40 times during week Reported it Monday afternoon. Got visit from renting company Wednesday, issues not resolved until Thursday and Friday. And home has a tankless water heater that will not get hot water to upstairs baths and is occasional in kitchen. If hot water makes it to these areas, it lasts 2-3 minutes and goes back cold. So a very frustrating week.

Hello Katherine, thank you for your review on Salty Beach. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the unit and the location. It was a pleasure to meet you and to address the issues that you had with the internet and DirecTV. We would like to clarify the timing of our response for future guests that may read this review. Looking back at our communication with you through our online system the issues were reported Monday (Memorial Day) evening at 6:40 pm. We did not have any staff members available at that time and we let you know we would be out the next day. Kara, from our office arrived at the unit approximately around 1:00 pm on Tuesday to try to trouble shoot the issues. Service tickets were placed immediately and escalated for internet and DirecTV. While we try our very best to get a technician as quickly as possible, the scheduling is out of our control. It's best to notify us right away when experiencing these type of issues. Tankless water heaters are different than a traditional water heater as we discussed while at the unit with you. It was found that it was user error with the controls in one of the upstairs showers and in the kitchen. We have also had a plumber check out the system to make sure it is functioning correctly. All in all, we hope that you were able to enjoy the beach and our area.
