The home was clean and in a great location for our meeting. It was also a great space for our family of 5. The A/C didn't work. In the host's defense, I didn't even get a chance to bring it up with them. We were at a 3-day intensive down the street, arriving after midnight each night and leaving by 7:30 each morning. We set the A/C to 71 and it stayed at 77 or 78 degrees. That made our few hours of sleep each night uncomfortable. We received a few offers to check in early (If it was available). Since our meeting started at 4 (Right at check-in time), I said yes each time, only to be told it was rented and not available. That was quite annoying, as I would have and tried to take advantage of the offer. It's kind of weird they offer it as a standard drip/automation campaign when it's not available, but it would have been amazing with our meeting. I ended up booking the Marriott A-Loft across the street for one night so we could shower and clean up after traveling in from FL before the meeting. While It didn’t affect us, the host called us because there was a mixup and the cleaners were late, pushing back check in time till after 4. I had already made alternative plans with getting a hotel room at that point. It seems like offer of early check in and the actual check in could be handled better now with automation and AI, regarding early check in availability.
