In summer you can explore the Tauferer Ahrntal on foot or by bike. In winter, the nearby ski resorts Klausberg and Speikboden are waiting for you, each reachable in about 5 minutes by car. The bus and ski bus stop is located 300 meters from the AlpenChalet. Visit also the interesting villages Sand in Taufers (11 minutes by car, 8,5 km) or Bruneck (30 minutes by car, 25 km) with their historical old towns.
