This home sits among the evergreens on the north side of town, with the Glade Trail accessible just up the road. Whether you spend your days skiing, snowboarding, or hiking, you'll love coming home to an open and airy living space that awaits upstairs on the top floor. You can also grill and dine outside on the deck in the fresh alpine air.
After dinner each evening, you'll have your choice of lounge spaces - you can curl up for a movie on the leather sofa in the living room or sip hot cocoa on the deck in the warmth of the fire table. There's even a studio space on the ground floor with its own sofabed, flatscreen TV, and kitchenette for drinks and popcorn. When it's time to turn in, you'll find two bedrooms in addition to the studio, each with its own TV to lull you to sleep.

Awesome, light and bright, modern home with nice furnishings and an extremely well stocked kitchen. This place also has lots of space for the family to spread out, as well as gather together in a comfortable living area.
This property is lovely. You are surrounded by trees, have a beautiful stream in back and lots of windows for natural light. The house is beautifully furnished. We enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. It is walking distance to some fun local restaurants and a very short drive to Mt Hood. There is an abundance of wonderful hiking trails nearby. We will definitely be back.

Warm, inviting, & modern
The warm, modern touches and the gurgling of the stream out back made for a perfect relaxing stay.
Cozy newer cabin with great views and prime location
We really enjoyed our stay at Baernhaus. Great location for expoloring downtown and hiking up the mountain via public trails.
The only downside was the quality of cleaning prep, but I am sure this will be addressed for future visits.
Had great family weekend at this cabin. The location is very convenient, it's close to general store, restaurants and summit pass. Amenities were awesome. Kitchen has everything what you need and even more, a good quality kitchen dishes. Had a wonderful stay.
My family and I stayed at this wonderful rental this summer after having stayed here last year. The property once again met all our expectations, and we will definitely stay here again in the future if it is available.

Nice location, but house lay out unusual.
Very nice location in relationship to Mount Hood. The house was very clean and relatively new, but the layout was unusual. You have to be ready to climb some stairs. Also, no closet space available so you have to live out of your suitcase for a few days.

We had the best time at Government Camp and Timberline! This house is amazing — immaculate, chic and super comfortable for our family. Three generations fit into the a accommodations perfectly, great access to skiing, attentive property manager responded immediately to all our questions. We will definitely return!

Great house!
My family and I really enjoyed our time here. The area is very beautiful and quiet and it's just a five minute walk to the general store and a few other shops. The house was very clean and well appointed. I really appreciated how the owners listened to past guests and added a coffee maker and an extension cord for the lights outside.
