This space is great for families or group getaways, as the newly designed bunk room functions as a second living space. Grocery store, all restaurants, and ski resorts are surrounding this property and add to the appeal of the vacation you spend here in this cozy mountain getaway.

Here, you will have everything you need to keep everyone fed, entertained, and sleeping soundly. The fully stocked kitchen includes all items one might need in order to cook for family and friends including pantry essentials, crock pot, and place settings for 12. For the kids, you will find many board games, coloring supplies, Legos, and puzzles to unwind after a long day on the slopes or summer biking/hiking. All rooms feature new mattresses and cleanliness is of utmost importance in order for all to feel comfortable.

This place has everything one would need in order to escape from the city and enjoy a cozy mountain getaway.

Would definitely book again!

Very clean, all the cookware needed is provided, town and restaurants short walk away, short drive to skiing, hosts very responsive, instructions for checkin, checkout short and concise. Will book again.

Ski weekend

Great property that has been so thoughtfully decorated and appointed. We had four teenage boys who loved having their own space, and two couples. Great space, great location. And as someone who cooks, I am always so impressed when kitchens have EVERYTHING you could ask for! And Stephanie and Andrew were awesome and very responsive.

Great holiday get togethwr

All we needed for a great family holiday get together on the mountain. Well supplied kitchen, plenty of hang out and stream movies on a rainy day space, and a good stock of board games to keep us busy in the evening. Even though the rain spoiled snowboarding time, we were able to head down the road to tube and had a great time.

Family Christmas getaway

We loved the Heart of Hood Haven! So cute and everything we needed. The bunk room was amazing and the loft was a hit even with the ‘big kids’. Cozy, warm, and close to everything!

Best communication!!

We have stayed at several properties over the years and the communication from this property owner was hands down the best. Very clean property and even decorated for the holidays! A must stay in Government Camp!

Location, Location , clean and comfortable

I was traveling with 8 of my snowboard academy students from Vermont for a summer training camp on the Mt Hood glacier. I’ve been coming to Mt. Hood for over 25 years, first as an athlete, now as a coach and business owner. I’ve frequently rented other units in edelweiss over the years and this by far has been the best experience. The place is clean, located in the heart of Government camp, and a short distance to the Mt hood access road. The owners are very attentive to your needs and the property manager is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this unit.
