For lake lovers, the location is unbeatable. You`re just moments away from a neighborhood boat ramp for quick and easy access to boating, excellent fishing, and all the recreational activities Lake Eufaula has to offer. At the same time, you`re still only a short drive from shopping, lakefront dining, entertainment, boat rentals, sandy beaches, and marinas.
Whether you`re planning a romantic getaway, a weekend with friends, or a peaceful retreat to recharge, Nottingham Cabin delivers the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and lake life. Once you arrive, you may never want to leave!

You’ll have private use of the residence throughout your stay, aside from the detached garage, which is not available to guests. There is a narrow circle drive on the South side of home, we suggest larger vehicles, especially with trailers use the driveway from the East side and park in the North driveway. It`s also suggested that vehicles with trailers back into that driveway.

Nottingham Cabin sits in the quiet, wooded Sherwood Forest neighborhood just East of the Eufaula Cove area.
Surrounded by towering trees and natural rock formations, you`re just moments from a neighborhood boat ramp with easy access to Lake Eufaula’s excellent fishing. This area is known for outstanding bass, crappie, and catfish — perfect for casting in nearby coves and creeks.
A short drive leads to Eufaula Cove Marina for boat rentals, fuel, and services, plus nearby lakefront spots like Captain John’s and Tumbleweed Steakhouse for fresh seafood, steaks, and waterfront dining. Downtown Eufaula offers additional restaurants, shops, and charm just minutes away.

💦Please Note About Lake Access

There is a neighborhood boat ramp located just 0.5 miles to the West of the home, while the ramp is handy it does have limited parking and obstacles just beyond the ramp. Nichols Point boat ramp is 3.2 miles to the West, is on the East side of the Eufaula Cove and offers a large boat ramp, courtesy dock, ample parking, restrooms, beach access and a pavilion.

🌳A Note About Our Lakeside Setting

Our home is located in a scenic lake and forest area, which means you’ll be immersed in nature during your stay. Although we have regular professional treatments in place, the natural surroundings may occasionally bring sightings of insects or spiders, especially outdoors.

This comes with the territory of being close to the water and trees, and we take thoughtful steps to keep the space clean and comfortable for our guests.

1. Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-In: 4:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM

2. Occupancy:
Maximum occupancy is 10 guests. Please do not exceed this number without prior approval from the host.

4. Noise:
Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors.
No loud music or parties.

5. Smoking:
This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is allowed only outside, away from open windows and doors, and all smoking materials must be disposed of properly.

6. Housekeeping:
Please leave the property in the condition you found it.
Use provided trash bags and dispose of trash in the outdoor bins.
Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets.

7. Appliances:
Report any malfunctions or issues with appliances to the host immediately.

8. Damages:
Report any accidental damages to the host immediately.
Guests agree to pay for any damages caused during their stay.

9. Outdoor Use:
Use of the BBQ grill is allowed; please move away from house while in use, turn off propane (if applicable) after each cook and clean any heavy deposits after use.
No open fires unless in the designated fire pit, and always ensure fires are completely extinguished before leaving unattended.

10. Security Deposit:
Security deposit required of $300. Deposit to be processed by host on guest`s credit card.

11. Parking:
Parking is available on both the North and South sides of the home. The North side has pull through section for 1-2 cars and is a narrow drive. There is another driveway on the South side of the home, access to this driveway is on the East side of the home. There are several areas to park along this driveway, if pulling a boat this will be the driveway to use, you will want to back the trailer in the driveway.

12. Respect for Property:
Treat the property as if it were your own.
Any unauthorized use of the property, including hosting events not agreed upon in advance, may result in eviction without refund.
