From the dining room you can access a large and partially covered terrace where you can let the sun shine on you, invest time in a read or have meals together. The terrace offers a fantastic view over the Tysfjord, a part of Erfjord.



Down by the fjord, a motorboat included in the rental price is ready to take you on adventures. In addition, you should try your luck fishing in the fjord or in freshwater and rivers in the area. The cottage is located in the middle of a beautiful hiking area with spectacular nature experiences in true Western Norwegian nature with steep mountains and waterfalls. Walk on marked trails in the Suldalsfjellene or Erøy in easier terrain. It is only a short drive to the cozy village of Sand with restaurant, salmon studio, Ryfylke museum and swimming opportunities. Day trips to Sauda are definitely worthwhile, there you will find the wonderful Svandalsfoss waterfall, a water park, golf park, restaurants and stores. In winter you have great skiing opportunities in Gullingen and Svandalen ski center. Day trips to Lysefjorden, Prekestolen, Stavanger and Kongeparken amusement park are also possible.
