Little oasis 2-bedroom house in fantastic St. Petersburg with AC

It is very unusual that a guest who was considering extending their stay and even asking for an additional discount would later leave a review claiming everything was terrible, especially when the reservation already included waived cleaning fees at no extra charge. The property provided much more than the basics for a comfortable stay: clean towels, soap, a refrigerator with an ice dispenser, a cozy backyard with a small pool, and ample parking. I also allowed check-in 3 hours earlier than agreed without charging anything additional. After more than 12 hours at the property, the guest called around midnight requesting curtains. For safety reasons, it was not possible to send maintenance staff out during a storm at that hour, and no maintenance personnel were available at midnight. In any true emergency, I would absolutely have found a way to assist immediately. Additionally, the guest had already messaged earlier saying that everything was fine after check-in. This review does not reflect the actual condition of the property or the level of hospitality provided. Unfortunately, it appears the guest was mainly seeking a larger discount, and when that did not happen, chose to leave a negative and misleading review. Based on this experience, I would not recommend hosting this guest.
