A semi-detached house, individually furnished in a maritime style, located near the beach in a quiet area—perfect for a true Baltic Sea vacation

Our vacation home is situated on a low-traffic street on the outskirts of Grömitz, heading toward Lensterstrand. The beach promenade is about a 5-minute walk away. Guests with dogs can easily reach the dog-friendly beach from there. The pier and the Grömitz pedestrian zone are about a 15-minute walk along the beach promenade. Two supermarkets (REWE and Aldi) are just a few minutes away by car or bike. Spa guests or guests who require ongoing medical care even while on vacation will find a general practitioner’s/spa physician’s office in the neighboring building on Hamburger Straße. Numerous local dining options are conveniently accessible on foot or by bike.

Our semi-detached house is located on a fenced-in lot. House number 31D is the end unit of two semi-detached houses built side by side. The front yard facing the street is fenced in, but is not separated from the neighboring semi-detached house at 31C. The house features a kitchen, hallway, guest restroom, and a living-dining room on the first floor, and a large and a small bedroom as well as a bathroom with a toilet on the upper floor. The property can accommodate up to 3 people—plus a small child in a portable crib. Virtual Tour: On the first floor of our house, to the right of the hallway/staircase, is the kitchen with modern built-in cabinets, a 4-burner ceramic cooktop, exhaust hood, oven, dishwasher, sink, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, and a wide selection of kitchen and cooking utensils as well as glasses and dishes. To the left, between the front door and the staircase, is the small guest restroom. We now continue straight ahead down the hallway—with its nautical blue-and-white striped wallpaper and storage space under the stairs—into the spacious L-shaped living/dining room. The dining area is furnished with softwood furniture. It comfortably seats 4 people. The table is also extendable, and a softwood display cabinet rounds out the ensemble. We’ve furnished the living area with a comfortable three-piece sofa set in black leather. Not only can the backrests be reclined, but the legs can also be raised for a cozy evening of TV or movies. An infrared remote control allows you to individually turn the floor lamps on and off to create a cozy atmosphere. The modern flat-screen TV, with a 140-cm screen diagonal, features satellite TV and Smart TV, allowing you to access online media libraries and/or Netflix via the internet. Below the TV, a softwood dresser offers plenty of storage space and room for the DVD player. Thanks to a window in the dining area—as well as the large panoramic window in the living area—the entire living space is flooded with light and also offers a beautiful view of the terrace and the surrounding greenery. The exterior roller shutters allow you to darken the room at any time. You can watch TV or listen to the radio via a separate stereo system with a CD player. On the southwest-facing terrace, you’ll find a large table and four comfortable rattan chairs with seat cushions and adjustable backrests. A 4-meter-wide awning provides shade when needed. The small garden is fenced in on all sides. A small ivy-covered gazebo invites you to enjoy the morning sun.
On the upper floor of our house, you’ll find the spacious bedroom with a double bed (180x200; two single mattresses, each 90x200), a softwood wardrobe, a dresser, two chairs, and under-bed storage drawers. The room can also be darkened using the exterior roller shutters. The small children’s room is furnished with a bunk bed (80x200 cm), three wardrobes (each 50 cm wide), and a comfortable leather armchair. Here, too, the room can be perfectly darkened using the exterior roller shutters. The bathroom features a bathtub, toilet, vanity with 2 drawers, mirror cabinet, and an 80x80 cm shower stall. Note: A shower of this size may be only partially suitable for very large individuals or people with disabilities. The large Velux window provides protection from the sun and privacy.
There is a parking space in front of the garage on the property. In the garage, you’ll find bicycles that can be used free of charge. Since this is a complimentary service, we cannot guarantee their constant availability or proper functioning. For our younger guests, we provide a free travel crib with a waterproof pad and sheets, a high chair, a changing pad, beach toys, and a handcart. Guests who bring their own bicycles can store them—as well as a bike rack, if needed—safely under lock and key in
