Upon arrival, we were super impressed with the easy check in. Family members started to arrive the next day. There was plenty of room for everyone and the gaming garage and kids area downstairs were perfect to keep the kids entertained while the adults could relax and catch up. Having the downtown square within walking distance was magical and there was so much to do there. Des Moines is just a short drive if you're looking for a little more to see or for more restaurant options. Oh, and the amenities in the house were the most thoughtful I have ever experienced - from feminine products, to full size shampoos and conditioners in the bathrooms, as well as new toothbrushes and travel sized mouthwash!! There were snacks galore and there were so many things Tupperware there that made me nostalgic of my grandmother. Such a quiet little neighborhood. Spent a lovely, cool breeze, slow raining morning sipping coffee alone on the sun porch, and can say that was the most relaxed moment for me of our 8 day road trip!! Bethany was always quick to respond to any messages. Would highly recommend booking to anyone wanting a quiet place to stay with a large family in Iowa!
