Hi, my name is Nikola, and I am originally from the Czech Republic. I moved to the United States 12 years ago with big dreams and the hope of building a better future.

My journey started in Florida, where I worked cleaning hotel rooms and vacation rentals. I worked very hard to improve my English, learn how everything worked, and slowly move forward. Later, I started working at hotel front desks, where I learned how important it is to make people feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for during their stay.

Over the years, life brought me to military communities, where I worked in childcare at Air Force bases. That is also where I met my husband, who serves in the military. Military life meant moving often and starting over in new places, but it also taught me how to create a home no matter where we were.

As we moved, we bought homes, and I found myself loving the process of taking care of them, decorating them, and making them feel warm and welcoming. I realized that creating a peaceful and comfortable place for others truly made me happy. That is what inspired me to start hosting and caring for homes myself.

At the same time, I became a mother, and raising our children became my biggest priority. I had to put my career in criminal justice on the side because we do not have family nearby to help with childcare, and I wanted to be there for our kids while they are little. So instead of giving up, I decided to build something around my family life.

Today, I stay busy taking care of our home, hosting guests, babysitting, pet sitting, and helping families and travelers feel comfortable during their stay. Everything you see in our house has been prepared with care, love, and attention by me while raising our children at the same time.

For me, hosting is not just about renting a house — it is about creating a safe, relaxing, and welcoming place where people can truly feel at home.

We chose this neighborhood because of how peaceful, safe, and family-friendly it feels. As a military family raising young children, having a quiet area where we could feel comfortable and secure was very important to us. We also loved that it is conveniently located close to Goodfellow Air Force Base while still being only about 8–10 minutes from downtown San Angelo, making it easy to access restaurants, shopping, and local attractions.

The neighborhood has a calm and welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for families, military members, work travelers, and guests looking for a relaxing stay away from busy traffic and noise. We wanted a place where guests could truly unwind, feel at home, and enjoy both convenience and comfort during their visit.

What makes our property unique is the combination of comfort, family-friendly features, and personalized care that guests receive during their stay. Our newly built home is located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood in San Angelo, just minutes from Goodfellow Air Force Base and only 8–10 minutes from downtown.

The house was carefully prepared to feel like a true home away from home. It features brand-new appliances, smart TVs in every room, Alexa-connected fireplace and living room TV, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large backyard perfect for families, kids, and pets.

As a military family ourselves, we understand how important it is to have a comfortable and stress-free place to stay while traveling, relocating, attending training, or visiting family. We try to provide more than just a house by offering additional help when possible, including babysitting, pet sitting, airport pickup, and car rental assistance.

What truly makes this place special is the personal touch behind it. Every detail of the home has been prepared with care while balancing motherhood, military life, and a passion for making people feel welcomed and comfortable. We want every guest to feel safe, relaxed, and at home from the moment they arrive.
