About this property

Cabin #2 A-Frame Nature Retreat

Nature's retreat is located right on the creek and is a serene cabin that feels like you are one with nature. A full bath, AC, and electric "wood stove" style space heater. Enjoy the creek view through the back wall of windows while relaxing on the queen-sized bed. There is a desk, a snack area with fridge, microwave, and a coffee pot. Over the fire pit there is a swing grate and griddle for cooking over an open flame. The sitting area offers space for a second or third guest to sleep on the twin daybed. An air mattress is available if needed. Linens, coffee, and kitchenware provided with each stay.

Just a short walk down to our stocked fishing pond where we have channel catfish, largemouth bass, bluegill, and sunfish. There is a $10 fee and is catch and release. The creek can be fished but with a WV state fishing license.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Why they chose this property

I had been looking for property for a year or so with water features. And this property nailed it! A three-acre pond, a creek, and a river. It is so peaceful here. My hope is that this property gives my guests peace like it has given me.

What makes this property unique

This property is unique with the confluence of the creek and river. There are two spots in the river that you can wade in and cool off in the summer. You can fish in the river (must have a WV fishing license) and catch dinner. Not to mention the large catch and release pay pond (no license required) where we stock channel catfish, largemouth bass, blue gill, and sunfish.
