Julie is a great hostess. The place was immaculate and spacious.. and the view of Burnt Cove perfect. BEST place we've stayed on Deer Isle by far.

Beautiful setting. Relaxing and quiet. Lovely cottage on the water. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Our family had a wonderful time. The neighbor sweet labs came to greet us every morning and evening.

Julie is an excellent host. As longtime members of VRBO, we have stayed in several fabulous houses across the USA and Canada. This particular property is among our favorites. The secluded setting at the end of the peninsula directly looking west over the Harbor, the charming 3 bedroom cabin and the distant fog horn make it unique and special. The Lord willing, we will happily return and encourage friends to enjoy their own stay.

I’m a native of Maine and work as a full time Dental Hygienist. This cottage is family owned and very special to us. Please be advised we have two very friendly Labs that roam the property as greeters. If you do not like animals this is not a property to rent. All potential renters with animals must be screened by me before being allowed to rent. The private road has a speed limit of 10 miles an hour to prevent hitting the dogs that live on the property. Thank you
