WOID = the Bavarian word for “forest.” Located in the beautiful Bavarian Forest and offering panoramic views of the stunning woods, this word has a double meaning for us. Our chalets are run with care as a family business and offer space for up to 5 people in 100m². Each chalet also has its own outdoor sauna, a hot tub, and a large panoramic balcony that opens onto its own garden. We want our guests to feel right at home with us.


This chalet has been furnished with great attention to detail. The chalet offers space for 4 people across 100 m²; it features one bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds that can be converted into a double bed. The chalet includes a sauna, a private hot tub, and an open-concept living-dining area with a wood-burning stove. There are also two bathrooms, each with a shower, so there’s no crowding even when multiple guests are staying.

Welcome to your personal oasis of relaxation in the Bavarian Forest! Our two exclusive, detached 5-star chalets, “WoidLiebe” and “WoidGlück,” each offer 100 m² of luxurious living comfort. The chalets are staggered along the edge of the forest—so you can enjoy absolute privacy, unspoiled nature, and a breathtaking panoramic view of Bodenmais.

Note for groups: Since the chalets are located next to each other, they’re also ideal for a group vacation with families of friends or multiple generations (up to 9 people total).

The Chalets in Detail (Beds & Layout)
Both chalets offer the same commitment to quality and differ only subtly and thoughtfully in their bedroom furnishings:

Chalet WoidGlück (up to 5 people): 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 double bed plus a bunk bed).

Chalet WoidLiebe (up to 4 guests): 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 set of two single beds—which can be pushed together as needed).

Living & Comfort: A light-filled living area with cozy underfloor heating in every room. The wood-burning stove creates an authentic cabin atmosphere (firewood is included). You’ll also enjoy excellent, natural mountain spring water.

Bathrooms & Laundry: Two modern bathrooms per house help prevent morning stress. A private washer-dryer (combo unit) is available in every house. Bed linens (already made), hand towels, shower towels, and sauna towels are included (please bring your own bathrobes).

Each chalet features its own private wellness area in the garden—completely independent of opening hours:

Private outdoor hot tub: Heated year-round, covered, and separable with a curtain for maximum privacy. Highest hygiene standards: The water is completely replaced with every guest change!

Outdoor area: Large terrace with private garden, cozy lounge set, sun loungers, and a high-quality gas grill.

Private wallbox (Type 2, 11 kW) right at the parking lot. Activation is straightforward via a charging card in the chalet (billed based on usage; 2026 price: €0.50/kWh).

Kitchen: Oven, toaster, electric kettle, filter coffee maker, and Nespresso machine. A starter supply of dish soap, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, salt, soap, tea, and coffee is provided upon arrival.
