This area of Riviera Beach/ West Palm Beach offers some of the most beautiful natural areas, dive. snorkel and fishing abound and you are only 1 mile from the water at Phil Foster Park or go to Riviera Beach marina where you can paddle board or take the ferry to Peanut Island. 3 miles from the beach and John McArthur state park. The lovely space features a Mermaid theme through out with coastal touches, fun stuff from the ocean and original art. Primary bedroom features a king bed, TV. Bedroom 2 a full bed, and 2 twin beds + the additional sofa bed makes it perfect for families or friends traveling together for work or play. Business or corporate travelers will appreciate the fast WIFI and ergonomic desk chair and dedicated desk, Guests can relax in the comfortable living room. The single bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer for convenience, Shower features a waterfall shower head and handheld shower head. With air conditioning and heating, the house stays comfortable year-round. Keep the car cool in private carport. Full size washer and dryer. Large utility sink to wash off gear or long 150 ft house to hose down paddle boards, kayaks, boats, toys. 2 kayaks and safety gear and paddle included. The truth is, I purchased The Crafty Mermaid because it was an excellent deal and seemed like an ideal opportunity to provide budget-conscious families, travelers and corporate clients with a comfortable temporary place to stay while enjoying everything Riviera Beach and Palm Beach have to offer.

The property is located in an established, working-class neighborhood in east Riviera Beach, an area shaped by local families, marine businesses and commerce. It is not a polished resort community, but it offers an excellent central location and easy access to some of Palm Beach County’s best outdoor attractions.

Nearby, you’ll find the Riviera Beach Marina, the Atlantic Ocean, beautiful beaches, fishing, boating and the famed Blue Heron Bridge, known for its snorkeling, diving and abundant marine life. Rapids Water Park is also just a short drive away.

The neighbors have been gracious and welcoming. I know many of them personally, and we look out for one another. If they notice anything unusual, they contact me right away, and they are familiar with the property and its guests.

The Crafty Mermaid offers a clean, comfortable and budget-friendly place for families, travelers and corporate clients who want to enjoy the area without paying luxury coastal prices. It is a practical bargain and an excellent value for anyone seeking a temporary stay near Riviera Beach’s waterfront attractions.

What makes this property unique

The Crafty Mermaid feels more like a little underwater bungalow or hideaway than a typical vacation rental. Its cozy mermaid and nautical theme continues throughout the home and into the beach-inspired garden. Original artwork created by my mother and me fills the walls, giving the space a personal character you won’t find in a generic rental.

After a day at the beach, the naturally cool terrazzo floors feel wonderful underfoot. The home is relaxed, playful and genuinely welcoming to families, friends and pets, with toys for the children and a fenced yard for four-legged guests. It was created for everyone to settle in, get comfortable and feel at home together.
