Exclusive house right on Lake Großer Sternberger See, fireplace (wood included), bed linens, towels, Internet (50 Mbit), Canadian rowing boat (Apr.–Oct.), The charming little cottage “Seeperle,” situated right on Lake Sternberg, has recently come into our ownership. It has been carefully restored, renovated, and redesigned with great attention to detail.
On the upper floor, up to five people can stay in two stylishly furnished rooms that exude a warm and inviting atmosphere. Adjacent to these is a small shower room.
On the ground floor, in addition to another small bathroom, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen that leaves nothing to be desired during your holiday. The cosy living and dining room is equipped with a 4K smart TV (55", including Netflix, Apple TV, and Disney+) and invites you to spend relaxing hours there. The living area features a comfortable upholstered seating area, while the dining area seats up to 5 people. A wood-burning stove provides cosy warmth when needed and creates a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Through the large patio window, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Sternberg, which you can also admire from the inviting patio with a grill—ideal for social evenings outdoors.
The natural beauty of the surroundings and the diverse birdlife, including majestic white-tailed eagles and colourful kingfishers, invite you to enjoy the peace and relaxation to the fullest. Here, you can experience wildlife up close and explore unspoiled nature.

We look forward to welcoming you soon! The town of Sternberg, with its historic town centre, nestles alongside the large Lake Sternberg. In the summer, the lake is perfect for swimming, swimming, fishing, and boating. The entire area around Sternberg offers excellent opportunities for relaxation—whether on hikes right along the lake, up to the Upper Lakes, or on bike rides through the rolling countryside. For those who love adventure, a canoe trip through the rustic Warnow Gorge would be just the thing.
Sternberg is very centrally located, making it an ideal starting point for many day trips—for example, to the state capital Schwerin, Wismar, Rostock, Güstrow, or the Baltic Sea, etc.
