The Galveston House se encuentra en el moderno y popular lado oeste de Bend, en el corazón del distrito de Galveston. Está a una corta distancia a pie de los puntos calientes del área como 10 Barrel Brewing Company, Westside Bakery and Café, Victorian Café, Phil’s Growlers, Ariana, Paradise Produce Stand y The Lot, nuestra nueva cancha de Food-Cart con comidas al aire libre.

También hay excelentes tiendas de bicicletas, equipos de recreación y fabulosos bares de jugos favoritos locales a dos cuadras. Salta directamente a tu bicicleta y en menos de 2 millas estás en Phil’s Trail, conocido por su excelente ciclismo de montaña. Cargue su tabla o esquís y estará a solo 20 minutos del monte. Soltero y nuestras pistas de polvo. El centro histórico está a solo 15 minutos a pie, en gran parte a través del Drake Park a lo largo del río Deschutes. No importa en qué dirección gire, se encuentra en medio de la encantadora Bend.

La casa de Galveston utiliza energía solar y fue diseñada teniendo en cuenta la eficiencia ecológica. Hemos utilizado maravillosos muebles y materiales únicos y re-reclamados para hacer de esta casa no solo cómoda, sino también cálida y acogedora. Esta exclusiva casa de tres dormitorios y dos baños tiene capacidad para seis personas cómodamente y ofrece un excelente concepto de vida de "espacio abierto" perfecto para reunirse.

Hay una cocina completamente surtida, hasta los granos de café frescos, esperando sus creaciones culinarias. La casa cuenta con Wifi GRATUITO en todas partes, por lo que puedes tuitear sobre la hermosa Bend, una lavadora / secadora grande para esas ropas de juego de Bend y un amplio patio trasero completamente cercado. En los meses de verano, hay asientos al aire libre para seis, una barbacoa de gas y dos bicicletas antiguas para uso de los huéspedes. También hay una maravillosa bañera de hidromasaje en el patio privado para esos baños nocturnos.

Este es realmente un hogar lejos del hogar, y lo invitamos a ser nuestros huéspedes.

Very nice home, close to breweries and restaurant. Shirt walk to downtown Bend. Full fenced backyard a must for our dog that was accepted in the unit. Thank you for a great experience.

Perfect place to hang out in Bend. Well stocked with kitchen items, perfect back yard and a very sweet neighbor (our dogs were fascinated by his cats antics). Super comfy house and very close to Bend highlights.

Stayed here for 10 days. Wonderful, quaint 3 bedroom home in a fantastic location in Bend - walking distance to: historic downtown, Drake Park and the River, coffee shops, breakfast cafes, Ten Barrels brew pub (has great pizza!), Brother John’s public house, Gelato place, local produce stand, and a great food truck lot (“The Lot”). It’s also a short bike or car ride to Old Mill district and bike trails. Front and back door has electronic key pad which was nice so we did not have to deal with keys amongst 4 people. There is a large gas grill on back deck which we used one night. Not too big a deal, but kind of a funky design to interior layout - in particular, the back door to deck and yard is through the primary bedroom. Pet friendly - fenced back yard, with nice lawn. We had small dog with us.Great communication from host before and during the stay We had a question on 2nd day and he respond within an hour. We made some suggestions when we departed which the host was very receptive to. Although we did not use it, there is nice hot tub in back. Would definitely have used it if it was winter time.

Everything went smoothly. Host was prompt with responses and patient with our fumblings. The location is fabulously walkable. The house was a bit cold, but everything was comfortable. The kitchen is fabulously ready for food prep, which we didn't do, as there are so many great restaurants within walking distance.

Great location—one block to Galveston Ave and 10 minute walk to Newport Ave corridors. Also easy walk to downtown Bend. House pictures accurate and everything is very comfy. Something to know is that the access to backyard is through the primary bedroom—no big deal for us but could be an issue for others. Management company very responsive and added to the quality of the stay.

This house is in a great location! We really enjoyed our stay here.

We got to Bend after record snow fall, the driveway and front porch had all been shoveled. We were very comfortable in this house, close to everything. Enjoyed the hot tub after a day at the mountain...we will definitely rent again on our next visit!

Clean well stocked home in a central location in Bend. Hot tub is an extra bonus after a long day of skiing. There are so many options of where to eat that are within walking distance

Perfect location!

We've stayed at this property in the past and loved it. It really is in the perfect location. We walked to Old Bend (15 min), Old Mill (20-25 min) and of course right across the steet to 10 Barrel Brewery. Sun River Brewery is about a 2min walk and they have great food...and beer of course. The house is well cared for and has everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Great location on Galveston corridor!

We had a lovely stay here! It was the perfect amount of space for 4 adults, 2 kids and a dog. The backyard is the perfect size to hang out and play, and you are just steps from Galveston and a short walk to the river. The home is exactly as listed, and comes with everything you need (bedding, towels, stocked kitchen, laundry, etc). The host was very communicative and helpful. We definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, bars, the river, etc.

Another good stay

Return guests for a reason - easily walkable to breweries, restaurants/cafes, old town and Old Mill districts, parks, and the river. Quick access to the mountain. Plenty of space for meals with family and friends. Fully fenced yard the best feature per our dogs. :-) Easy check in/out. Plenty of parking. We’ve stayed here a couple of times and hope to make this a more regular trip.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments, though they did surprise me. This house is secured with smart keypad touch locks, and the code for that lock is guest specific and changed after each and every guest for security. No two codes issued to a guest are the same so there is not a possibility that another person would have your guest specific code to open the door, or access to the house at any time. Also, this is the first I am hearing of this… this feedback of an unexpected person showing up was never mentioned to me by you at the time of your stay, and nobody else contacted me thinking they had a duplicate reservation for that house over that time so I am perplexed at what you say you experienced. At no time during your stay did you mention the wifi not working either so I am sorry we did not get the chance to fix your issue. We are a local vacation home company so I am always just minutes away if a guest needs anything, and our 300MB cable internet is provided by a local broadband company who is also just minutes away for repairs or telephone support. I wish we would have been given the opportunity to fix any issues you may have been experiencing while you were here.. that is the best part about being a local person! I am glad you enjoyed the home and the fantastic location for your stay here in Bend.

Great Inner Bend location

This is a nice updated older home just off NW Galveston which is a great trendy street for food and drinks. You can walk or ride to downtown. The house is well equipped and lacked nothing we needed. Lastly, this property was also dog friendly but we saw no evidence of other dogs when we stayed. We will certainly consider staying here again.

Great property. Only thing I’d say is the fees are getting out of hand. This is across all of Vrbo. With these fees constantly increasing it will keep property owners from being able to rent out their homes.

Republicans not welcomed by neighbors

The property was excellent and the Property manager was great! The home was exactly what it was described to be! However the neighborhood is not fond of Republican/Conservatives! There was one particular lady that started name calling as we were walking in coming back from 10 barrel brewing! I have political stickers on my Truck and Idaho plates that obviously she didn’t appreciate We were called white supremacy cause we live in Idaho and it got to the point the police were called on us! The property manager received calls from other neighbors stating we were loud but there are literally 2 breweries very close by intact one is right next store! Again the property and the host were excellent but if you are not a democrat or liberal and have anything on your vehicle stating you support Trump then you will have problems with the neighbors as obviously they don’t want Trump supporters in there neighborhood!

The Galveston House was perfect for our family to stay for a week. The comforts of home with AC, quiet time, and a good night's sleep. They loved exploring Bend, which was within walking distance. Restaurants were awesome. They played golf at Crosswater, Pronghorn, Widgi, and Lost Tracks. The weather was enjoyable, with only two days during the week in the high 90s. We will book this place again.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

My favorite feature about this property: the garage! I know, this is a weird thing to choose because it's just a good ol' one car, attached garage... but it is great for storing all your outdoor gear, bikes, boats, coolers, skis, etc.. or you can just simply park in it. Garages on the west side of Bend are a rare find (since most of the homes pre-date the garage craze) so having one here exclusively for guest use is an added bonus!
