1 bed/livingroom (2-3 Pers.), 1 kitchen (fully equiped), 1 bathroom in a typical swiss house of the 18th century near basel.Situated in a little , quiet medieval town surrounded by a beautiful landscape where you can go hiking,climbing, mountainbiking or even swimming. the house had been renovatet ecologicaly .The interior decoration has much style and in a pretty garden you can get you breakfast ore some cup of tea. In the Winter a nice log-fire will conforte you.

Wandern von der Haustür ab

Waldenburg ist ein malerischer Ort, von dem zahlreiche Wandermöglichkeiten ausgehen. Nahezu alle Ziele sind mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen bzw. man kann vom Endpunkt der Wanderungen mit Bus und Bahn zurückfahren. In der Ferienwohnung haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles tipptopp.

Perfekter Urlaub in der Schweiz

Frau de Caro hat uns mit offenen Armen freundlich empfangen. Alles war bestens vorbereitet. Sie ist eine feinfühlige Gastgeberin. Das Wandergebiet bietet für jeden etwas passendes. Der Bahnhof der Liestal Bahn ist nur 5. Min. entfernt, so dass man auch ohne Auto die Umgebung entdecken kann. Eine Woche war jetzt nicht genug, der Appetit ist geweckt und wir werden wiederkommen.

Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Natur und Kultur

Wir haben 10 wunderbare Tage in Waldenburg verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr liebevoll - geschmackvoll und praktisch zugleich - eingerichtet. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und engagiert. Von Waldenburg aus kann man herrliche Wanderungen unternehmen. Wir haben den Ort vor allem als idealen Ausgangspunkt für kulturelle Unternehmungen sehr geschätzt. Basel, Bern, Zürich, Dornach, Solothurn - all diese Ziele sind in weniger als einer Stunde mit dem Auto und mit etwas mehr Aufwand mit dem hervorragend ausgebauten Schweizer öffentlichen Verkehr erreichbar. Schön ist auch der kleine Garten hinterm Haus, der uns vor allem als Frühstücksplatz diente. Vielen Dank! Vermietrin

What a fabulous holiday

Highly recommended to anyone who loves to get out in the mountains. Networks of beautifully signposted Swiss footpaths pass the front door. The scenery is dramatic - limestone cliffs creating steep sided gorges - and makes for some challenging mountain biking! Gabriele was a generous host and her apartment made a cosy and extremely comfortable base for exploring. We were grateful for the warm log stove on the cool October nights.
