Our home’s greatest asset is the location. It is easy to access the river, zip downtown, head up the mountain, or jump on the highway. The interior of the home is light and bright. We hope you find our home warm and restful in between your discoveries and adventures in Central Oregon.

First off, I don't think the photos do this place justice. It was WAY nicer that we thought it would be. For some reason I was under the impression that this was an older place and happily surprised when I walked in. Loved the open kitchen, dining and living room. We are a family of 4 and it was perfect for us. We put the pack and play for our little one in the oversized closet which provided a nice dark room for sleeping and napping.
One of the best features of this place is the location. Just under 2 miles to down town, not too far away from our favorite hikes in Newberry National Volcanic Monument and just darn close to everything! The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need for cooking and baking. The non-stick pans are not scuffed up and in great condition (I hate going to a rental to find the pans unsuitable for cooking!). The garage was super convenient and attached to the laundry room, so we could drop off wet clothes and shoes on our way in. A perfect home away from home with so many benefits. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in town! Thank you!
My wife and my adult son and I stayed together here for 4 days and we thought it worked out very well for us. It is quite spacious, though only a one bedroom with a second room set up with a bed that work well for my adult son.
We plan on booking again.
Thank you for a great stay!
We were staying in Bend for the film festival and it was nice to have a quiet home to return to after a long day.
Nice property, clean and well-maintained, and well equipped with a garage for the car. We were able to walk to the Old Mill district in the evenings for an evening cocktail and enjoyed the easy access to the river. It was also a convenient location for visiting Sunriver and Sisters.
This is the second time we have rented this home. It is in an excellent location within walking distance of the Old Mill Mall. The home itself is well maintained and is comfortably furnished. It is in a residential area so is quiet as well. Definitely have this property on our list of places to which we will return.
My town home is in the housing area above the Old Mill District. So, you can walk down there in approx. 7 minutes via the Bluffs community trail for shopping, concerts, restaurants & movies. In the summer, there are free Sunday concerts in their amphitheater and free Wednesday concerts. Also, this is where the Balloons over Bend event is held. Bike races, triathlons, and the Pole, Pedal, Paddle race takes place down there, too. Great fun to watch! There are also sand volleyball courts and a practice fly-fishing course just there along the river. You can bike there in 1 minute, all downhill, and pedal along the river, that's nice for kids because it is flat. The put-in to float the river is less than 1 mile away, too. You'll find four inner tubes in my garage with a foot pump. You can rent stand-up paddle boards less than 1 mile away at Stand Up Paddle Bend. In the summer, the City offers a free shuttle to pick floaters up at Drake Park and take them back up to the start of the float trip at Farewell Bend Park. Mt. Bachelor is a 30 minute drive if roads are clear of snow. We prefer to take the Ski Shuttle, which picks up less than 2 miles from my home - you'll need to buy a ticket. We ride our mountain bikes out the door to get on the Deschutes River Trail (a singletrack actually starts to the left of the Bend Athletic Club and leads right into it) or onto the Phil's Trail system - which you can access from the north side of Century Drive (easy, 20 minute warm-up ride). We also ride our road bikes out the door, too, and head in all directions. A great hike is Tumalo Falls. A 5 minute hike gets you to a viewpoint, but if you keep going for several more miles you'll see other falls. It's about a 15 minute drive to get there. If you need to lift weights or swim, buy a day or week pass at the Juniper Swim & Fitness Center-a 7 min drive away. Many golf courses, some 5 minutes away, other farther. Frisbee golf, too. Smith Rock State Park for hiking and watching the rock-climbers - its famous around the world for that. Drive there in 35 minutes. You are 1/4 mile off 3rd street, the main thoroughfare, with grocery stores, sporting goods, lots of restaurants. In our living room, I've included maps and brochures about Central Oregon. You'll find a hiking guidebook describing trails that are good for kids. I also wrote a House Book with tips and directions to grocery stores, coffee shops, bakeries, trails, etc... It's in a binder on the kitchen counter. For more info, visit the Central Oregon Visitor's Association down at the Old Mill, over by the Vanilla store.
