About Norma Reinhart
I lived in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and spent each summer at my grandparents home in Cape May, New Jersey. My children grew up with sand in their toes and the waves tossing them around. I had a dream to build a home by the water in my favorite summer vacation spot, Cape May, New Jersey. This cottage is the culmination of that dream. I designed and had it built just a short distance from the Delaware Bay beach in an area known as Cape May Beach. It has some of the most magnificent sunsets ever. It's in a unique area where you can see the sunrise over the water (only 10 minutes away on the ocean in Cape May) and then see the sunset on the bay just at the end of the block. Dreams do come true!

Beautiful home, great location.
Stayed here for a week with our two daughters and their children in July. House was perfect with everything you need to feel right at home. The house was well maintained and Norma was was pleasant to deal with. 1/2 block to the beach on bay. Kids had fun on the beach and we all enjoyed the nightly sunset conch sounding. That was amazing! Just a warning that by late July the nearby bay water is very warm and we encountered numerous jellyfish. Also the beach does have lots of washed up horseshoe crabs. Nice for walking or just relaxing though. The cape May beaches are only about 15 minutes away which are always really nice. Great place, quiet neighborhood away from the bustle of Cape May. Highly recommend.
Such a cute & clean house not far from Cape May
The house is close to the private beach which for us is what we didnt like about our stay (to NO fault of the owners!) The water is dirty & there were a ton of jellyfish...everyone in my family was stung at least once. So while the beach is close & hosts lovely sunsets, swimming in the water isnt an option. We were close enough to Cape May & Wildwood that we filled our days w other activities. Just disappointed by the water. The house itself is very nice & clean though.
So sorry that the beach was not at its best. The jellyfish can be a problem at certain times of the year. I had same problem at the ocean beach this week with my grandkids. Not pleasant. Glad you were able to enjoy the glorious sunsets and miles of beach to walk. And glad you were able to enjoy other close by beaches that offer different activities.
perfect for a family
This very attractive and well-appointed house a block from the beach is perfect for a family vacation. Everything you need is provided and works well. Owner was very helpful before and during our stay. The beach is uncrowded. Great for children and dogs (on leash). The place is handy to the town of Cape May if you like that sort of thing but this is quieter and without the kitsch and crowds.
Loved it, I would definitely recommend this house
This house was absolutely lovely. 2 minute walk to the beach, large bedrooms, open concept living room and kitchen. This house has everything you could need. It's located in a less touristy area but it's only a 15 minute drive to congress hall, 8 minute drive to the cape may winery. Great spot if you're looking for a quite neighborhood!
Beautifully kept home just steps from the beach!
We were really impressed with how lovely this house was! Plenty of room and a great front porch. Literally steps from the beach where dogs are welcome! Our dogs were exhausted after all the long walks they took on and off the beach. Close to the winery and brewery as well which was perfect on the rainy days.
