About Norma Reinhart
I lived in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and spent each summer at my grandparents home in Cape May, New Jersey. My children grew up with sand in their toes and the waves tossing them around. I had a dream to build a home by the water in my favorite summer vacation spot, Cape May, New Jersey. This cottage is the culmination of that dream. I designed and had it built just a short distance from the Delaware Bay beach in an area known as Cape May Beach. It has some of the most magnificent sunsets ever. It's in a unique area where you can see the sunrise over the water (only 10 minutes away on the ocean in Cape May) and then see the sunset on the bay just at the end of the block. Dreams do come true!

Great house, right by a secluded and beautiful a white sand beach, perfect location in Cape May
We are nature and bird lovers from California, and decided to come to Cape May because it is supposed to be a wonderful birding destination. We chose Norma’s place as our home base. We were not disappointed and had the best time! This house is not just beautiful and comfortable, but it is also in the perfect location. It is close to all the destinations we wanted to see: historic Cape May, the ferry that takes you to Delaware, the whale watching departure point, the various and many bird watching locations, museums, local restaurants and wineries, etc. The house is steps away from a beautiful and secluded white sand beach that stretches forever, where you can enjoy stunning sunsets and sunrises, and meet some of the nice and very friendly locals. Norma’s kitchen is fully equipped, allowing for easy cooking. The living room and dining areas are beautiful and cozy, and the porch gives you a place to enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by luscious green trees, listening to the birds, and watching the squirrels. And Norma is helpful, nice and responsive. Cape May is absolutely a worthy destination, and this house is the perfect place from where to explore it. Overall, this was a lovely place to visit!
Thank you so much for such a lovely review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay.

Very comfortable, clean home. Short, easy drive into Cape May. Quick stroll to beach access.
Indoor space very bright and airy. Outdoor front porch felt private and has plenty of seating. All over comfortable home and neighborhood. Location was great for hanging out at the house or short tripping to all the offerings of the Cape May area.
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Great location and plenty of space for our family. Norma the homeowner is so nice and responsive. Being able to walk down to the quiet beach was a plus and we were able to bring along our leashed dog who enjoyed it as well. Beautiful sunsets!
Beautiful, spacious, well-equipped house with a great location!
We really appreciated how spacious the house was especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. House seemed like new and was beautifully decorated and furnished. Norma was wonderful to work with! TV’s with digital tv in every room. Loved the deck with comfy seats and fans - perfect for cozy reading in all kinds of weather. Quick walk to the dog-friendly bay beach. Our dog loved running on the sandbar at low tide. Easy access to grocery store, fast food chains, hardware stores and unique takeout restaurants and ice cream. About a 15 minute drive to Cape May beaches and Washington Mall — we were always able to find parking.
Best long weekend ever!
