The Shell Cottage was perfectly located for dog and beach lovers. It was pristine as well as charming. Everything you might need for indoor cooking or outdoor adventuring was available. Shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches all within walking distance with beautiful sunsets abounding.We found the host to be extremely accomedating and friendly. Cannot wait to return!

Fantastic Del Mar location (If you like the beach)

We really enjoyed our stay at Shell Cottage. The location is fantastic and unit is very nice and clean. Everything you need for a great beach week. They have boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas so you don't have to bring them. They also have a washer and dryer which is fantastic. We loved our stay and will be back next September.

In town for the weekend for a soccer tournament. Excellent house for our stay. For clarification there is one mini split for the house which has two bedrooms. Ceiling fans and oscillating fans also provided. Other than that the property was perfect for our stay. Will definitely stay again. Loved proximity to the beach!!contacted host last minute for a late checkout which was graciously provided. Also offered early check in but our flight was delayed so we couldn’t take part.

This is the perfect beach getaway. If you enjoy a peaceful, quiet venue then this is for you! The host is incredibly attentive and responsive. You can walk in all directions and be surrounded by beauty and calm. I cannot accurately describe how cozy this home is but it is perfection!

Super clean, recently remodeled duplex a very short walk to the beach. No climbs up and down stairs to the beach either. Well stocked home. We’ll definitely be back. And pet friendly!

We had a wonderful experience at this property! Beautiful home, very short walk to the beach, perfect location and neighborhood. The Beach Haus staff was very attentive and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our time at Shell Cottage. It is cozy, clean and so close to the beach. Beyond that, the owners/management were responsive and generous. Highly recommend - we've already rebooked for next summer!

A gem in Del Mar

The shell cottage was perfect for our family! You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into this property - the house is updated and was squeaky clean, and they even had a little activity pack and prize for our kiddos when we checked in. Would love to stay again!
