The maso was once the focal point of subsistence farming in the remote Alpine valleys. Built with a stone base for livestock and upper larch-wood levels for hay storage, it has been carefully restored in the early 2000s, respecting its original shape and size. Today, it’s a residence designed with eco-friendly materials and energy-saving standards. Just beyond the Stelvio National Park entrance, you’ll find conifer forests and open meadows welcoming you to a timeless, rustic setting that doesn’t sacrifice comfort.



A few meters away is the Ragaiolo suspension bridge, offering an adrenaline-filled view of a waterfall from a unique perspective. You can also visit an 18th-century Venetian sawmill nearby.
