About Kindra Harlow

I am a native Montanan. I grew up, went to school and graduated from Montana State University in beautiful Bozeman, Montana. I have been lucky to enjoy the beauty of this place and participate in the many outdoor activities Montana has to offer. I raise registered Katahdin sheep on the ranch, and of course have a few border collies and a horse on the payroll to help me. My folks have lived on this ranch for over 25 years, and together we have the rental cabin, and also run a mini storage business.

Why Kindra Harlow chose Yellowstone Country

The Pinto Ranch Cabin is located in the middle of the Paradise valley which gives you close access to the outdoors, but is still close to Livingston, Gardiner, and Yellowstone Park. Access to the cabin is just 1/4 mile off of Hwy 89 S. 360 degree view of the mountains.

Paradise in Paradise Valley, MT!

  • 5 of 5

We wanted quiet and mountain vistas and weather ... and did I say quiet? We got everything we sought and more. Our host, Kindra, offers an incredible getaway nestled in between the Absaroka and the Gallatin mountains. A short lovely drive from Livingston along the Yellowstone River. The cabin was perfect for us. Especially two bedrooms and two baths! The open plan living/dining room and wood stove made this a warm beautiful Christmas holiday for us. Kindra was easily accessible if we needed anything but to be honest, she has equipped this pristine cabin with everything we needed for cooking, doing laundry, and being lazy--which was the icing on the cake for us. Thanks Kindra!

Heaven on Earth!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I were looking for a comfortable, serene cabin to stay that would allow us to explore Yellowstone via day trips as we brought along our little pup.

I was the perfect cabin! Kindra made sure that we had everything! She told us a bit about the area, what conveniences Emigrant had to offer, etc. She offered such a comfortable cabin which was stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, comfortable furniture. She made sure she was available by phone if we had any questions.

We enjoyed the breezes of the valley....and THE VIEW!!!!! It's not often you can find a reasonable vacation getaway at a reasonable price and be able to enjoy 360 degree unobstructed views of mountain ranges!!We soaked in the sunshine, enjoying the quiet, the stars at night, beautiful sunsets and sunsets while we weren't exploring Yellowstone.

We recommend Kindra's cabin for anyone looking for a pleasant, mellow vacation. It's exactly what we needed and more!

Given the opportunity, we would rent from her again!

Thanks, Kindra!

Perfect stay In Paradise Valley

  • 5 of 5

We have really enjoyed our stay at Kindra's beautiful log cabin. But calling it a cabin does not quiet do justice to the it. It a beautiful 2 bedroom little log house with all amenities to make for a comfortable stay. Easy to get to, in a gorgeous valley with amazing views from early in the morning to late at night. There is a full kitchen with everything you would need (including good dishes and wine glasses) to cook or to enjoy things you pick up at Costco in Bozeman or elsewhere along the way at a gorgeous dining table. The house is very clean and comfortable with beautiful western furnishings, we loved it. So-o-o-o quiet...perfect for a great sleep. Two full bathrooms and even a washing machine and a dryer for a longer stay. There is a small grocery store in Emegrant, they have a little bit of everything, and it is very close. There are some places to eat there as well, depending on the season. The house is only a short, maybe 30 mins, drive to Yellowstone National Park, and it is a beautiful drive!

We hope to be back!

Kindra, thank you so much. We really enjoyed meeting you, and we hope to be back.
