This home was perfect for our family and two dogs! We spent time at the community pool, at the beach, golfed, and just relaxed. The host was a great communicator and we’ve already reserved the house for next summer. It is a quick walk to the beach and pool. We took the dogs to the dock many times in the evening for the sunset over Kiawah River. That’s our 14th summer going to Kiawah and next year will be 15! Thanks for your hospitality, Maggie!

The cottage is the perfect size for a small family. Close walk to the beach and pool. Lovely neighborhood. Lots of shopping near including a well stocked grocery store. Easy access to Charleston if you want. The host is very responsive and check-in was a breeze. Thanks for a lovely time. Would absolutely book again.

We had an incredible 7 week stay at this lovely property! The property manager was very helpful as well as the owner and her daughter. The vacation rental was spotless, comfortable, extremely well-equipped, and I just loved all of the colorful artwork. It’s a happy place to be for sure! The location was perfect for us as we enjoy golfing the Kiawah courses and long walks on the beach. I definitely hope to spend another 7 weeks here next year! Diane A.

We loved our time at this property in Kiawah. This rental was in a great location and felt like home. It had a lot more character than some places I’ve stayed, which I really appreciated. It was the perfect choice of rentals for our family vacation.

Wonderful Beach Retreat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on Inlet Cove in Kiawah! What a beautiful spot amount the trees. Quiet street with a short walk to the beach. The island is amazing with bike trails throughout, I felt like a kid again. The home was clean, comfy, and felt relaxing. Many great books to read and puzzles. Great experience and we will be back!

Great option if you are traveling with dogs!

Overall we were happy with our stay. The cleanliness could have been better (mainly because of dog hair) but other than that everything was great! There is a vacuum which was handy and helped us keep tidy during our stay!

Wonderful dog-friendly Kiawah retreat!

Great introduction to Kiawah. Easy, short walk to the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. The unit was immaculate and well-appointed. Kitchen had a full complement of pots, pans, coffee makers, etc. Beds were comfortable and linens were well-maintained. We had a great visit and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is nicely appointed, clean and only a short walk the beach. Having access to the community pool was great too. My only issue is the condo construction close by. They started banging in pilings at 7am and it went all day. It was very loud and took away from wanting to sit outside. I am surprised that was allowed and that complaints weren't made. Besides that, we had a great trip. Went to beach, pool alot, road our bikes all over, went to charleston for shopping and Fort Sumpter tour, visited Boone plantation.Maggie our host was great and its good to know they have someone to come out if there is any issues. We had an issue with the tvs (wanted to watch the ncaa final but ended watching on our ipad). They did come out the next day to fix one of them. We love kiawah and will be back!

Hello! I was born in Pasadena, California, and have lived in several wonderful places, including San Francisco, CA, Memphis, TN, and Dallas, TX. Now, I call Longmont, Colorado, home, but I absolutely love Kiawah Island and am thrilled to share it with you. I enjoy interacting with guests and introducing them to the island's beautiful spots, whether it's a peaceful beach walk or a scenic adventure. I can't wait to welcome you to our cozy cottage and help you make the most of your time here!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

"We purchased our Inlet Cove Cottage #79 in 1980, right as Kiawah Island was just beginning to take shape. A friend who had recently bought a cottage in Sparrow Pond invited us to stay, and the following summer, we ‘went wild’ and bought our own little piece of paradise. Back then, very few people had even heard of Kiawah (we were living in Memphis, TN), and this was before the internet, VRBO, and all the online resources we have today. We relied on newspaper ads and word of mouth to rent our cottage. Over 40 years later, with our children now grown and with children of their own, we’re still able to enjoy our time in Kiawah and cherish the memories we continue to make in this special place.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We are the original owners of #79 and have loved this property for over 45 years. It's our home, and we hope you feel at home when you stay there. We love the location - walking distance to the beach, walking distance to the river, bike riding distance to Freshfields, easy access on/off the island since you don't have to go through the main gate.
